Batman Producer Confirms 3rd Movie in 2011

In a recent interview, producer Michael Uslan said that we will indeed see a sequel to "The Dark Knight". Uslan, who is onboard as executive producer, estimates that the movie will hit theaters in 2011.
However he reveals nothing as far as plot or characters, saying only:

"It's one of those deals where if I told you, I'd have to kill you,"

I think everybody felt a 3rd movie was a foregone conclusion, but its nice to see that the wheels are in motion.

Presumably the project will return Nolan, Goyer & Co. (who've indicated they're already shaping workable story ideas for a third Bale-BAT adventure), although nothing should be seen as set in stone until former announcements are made.

Wicked....

I just hope they don't try and "overdo" this movie like they have with past sequels. What I mean is, just because you are building on the franchise doesn't mean you have to keep trying to outdo the previous film. Try and make a film that could stand on its own, and you'll have a winner. So, just because you're trying to follow the huge success of TDK, don't make the third film with 6 different villians in it thinking that bigger is always better. Character development is where it is at. I think that if they pick one or maybe two villians and actually focus on and delve deep into the characters and what motivates them, they'll definitely have a blockbuster on their hands. I mean, thats what everybody loved about Ledger was all the depth that they got out of his character. Can I get an AMEN!

I wonder what villans are gonna be in the 3rd film??? What i thought would be BA is if they did a little scene at the end, where it hints to who it is. Cause i was screaming with joy at the end of the first one, where Gordon handed Batman a joker card.....
Who agrees on saying that they should've put a little scene at the end???
Also, give your suggestions as to which villans and who should play them.
I personally say Mr. Freeze and The Penguin....as for playing them.....Freeze= Michael Chiklis, he doesnt have the acting, but he could definitely pull off the look.
As for the penguin....i know its old school, but Danny DeVito....he played the part once before, knows the character, and who else is built for the part??? I'll tell ya, no one.....
Thats my opinion, take it...or just take it....doesnt matter to me..
Megabattle0 - 1/27/2009, 8:28 AM
I think they should develop the Riddler, and all the talk about Johnny Depp I like it... as far as others I'd like to see the penguin... maybe John Leguizamo
Willyard - 1/27/2009, 9:14 AM
I guess that statement meant "Batman 3 is hitting theaters in 2011, with or without Nolan and Goyer!" It's a "heads up guys" it's shit or get off the pot now!!! Personnaly i don't give a damn if both of them don't come back as long as it gets made in the same fashion, many teams out there have the same talent and could do a brilliant 3rd addition.
Shaman - 1/27/2009, 9:41 AM
They have 2yrs to get it right & not just thrown together!

I would love to see either The Reeper or The Clock King as the villains of the 3rd film...their characters would give lots of plot possibilities...maybe throwa suggestion on The Riddler in there to wet the appetites of the more mainstream audience....any thoughts??
doc - 1/27/2009, 9:47 AM
Pooploop (thats not a weird name at all).....the Clock King was part of The Green Arrows villans.....not Batman, and as for The Creeper....it could be a possibility. Me and my brother were thinking of Batman foes that not eveybody knows. Heres a list of what we came up with:
Killer Croc
Man-Bat
The Pied Piper (i think this would be cool)
Clayface
Killer Moth
The Mad Hatter
I like your idea though, bring in some supervillans from other superheroes' rogue galleries.....see what we can come up with??
Megabattle0 - 1/27/2009, 10:08 AM
oh, yes! This is going to be awesome.
GunRyder - 1/27/2009, 10:39 AM
hopefully captain america and the avengers movies coming out the same year have time to make money before it comes out. i want another batman movie but i also do not want it to kill the success of those 2 other films.
grif - 1/27/2009, 10:52 AM
Megabattle0... The man said "Reaper", not Creeper. And if you had a problem with Clock King because he was a Green Arrow villian, why the hell did you suggest Pied Pier?!
I have a feeling, regardless of who/what we want to see, it's going to be the Riddler. Which honestly, I'm all for. I'm just like everyone else who'se enjoyed the recent incarnation of the franchise... Eagerly aniticipating the next installment, and daydreaming about the possibilities.

adamant877 - 1/27/2009, 10:54 AM
I cant wait if i was them i would get Johnny Depp to be The Riddler, Paul Giamatti as the Mad Hatter and Philip Seymour Hoffman as Penguin but not a deformed danny devito penguin a penguin like the one in the Adam West Batman series, the look of a penguin and acts like Michael Corleone that would be crazy godfather meets dark knight. No offense to Danny Devito's potray of the penguin i loved it but if this is a re-due of the batman movies penguin should be a kick ass mob leader.
SPANISHVEGETA - 1/27/2009, 10:54 AM
Guys trust me, if Nolan is at the helm of the next movie we wont be seeing any villains with any sort of powers or too out there looks. He has said that his universe exists outside the ordinary DC universe and is as realistic as it can be. So the only villains you will see are the likes of the Riddler, Catwoman, maybe Penguin if they tone down the birdy attributes! Black Mask, Mad Hatter..maybe Bane etc.

That is of course unless Nolan gets his head surgically removed from his ass and gives the fans what they want to see..some interaction with the rest of the DCU..which weather you like it or not Mr Nolan, Batman is a part of.
Rorschach01 - 1/27/2009, 10:56 AM
Megabattle0-

yeah it was wicked when they did the whole joker card for the first flick but if they did it again it would of been a little corny the first one left everyone anticapating the joker and the way they left this one was good 2 now look at every one posting who is gonna be in the next one who we want to play the vllian is 2 face dead in my opinion they ended the last movie even better with the what if factor with the who is next factor, but yeah that would of been good to know a little something of whats next lol
SPANISHVEGETA - 1/27/2009, 10:59 AM
awesome news, simply awesome.

As for villains, i'm thinking black mask. i think he could work in the current story arc. i'm not entirely convinced that two face is dead so who knows.

i read in a interview that Liam Neeson might be coming back in this one any info on that get back to me.
SPANISHVEGETA - 1/27/2009, 11:04 AM
Where did Uslan say 2011? I can't find anywhere that's he's quoted saying that.
TheGeekFiles - 1/27/2009, 11:21 AM
rorschach01: DAMN YOU!! you beat me by posting this news before!!

Shaman: I see your point: "From WB/DC:Hey Nolan guys: 2011 or the highway!", yes it was subtle.

i mean FIRST they said: "Oh we´ll wait for Chris Nolan to finish up his Margaritas (i still love that article comment!) and THEN HE will tell us what to do next!" :-]

..and now, all of a sudden, we have a release year? only 2 years ahead WITH NO confirmed director/script?

though Shaman-"Personnaly i don't give a damn if both of them don't come back as long as it gets made in the same fashion"
...yes but you can´t take out a team and expect to have it made "in the same fashion", right?

--Megabattle0 brothers: Good list, just to pinpoint that Killer Croc and Man-Bat and Clayface are very well known by people since they appeared a lot in the animated series
SirJediFrank - 1/27/2009, 11:25 AM
I got the info from AICN..but its only snippits of the original interview
Rorschach01 - 1/27/2009, 11:25 AM
True sirjed, to have a different team would mean "creative differences" but they can still follow along the same lines instead of making something completely different like what Schumaker did with Burton's work.
Shaman - 1/27/2009, 11:57 AM
we are at that point where we have to outdo the last movie. the plot and story of tdk can not be outdone. it was too perfect. unless they do it visualy and with action. i say open up with batman catching croc. open shut case story. then develope a clayface story. clayface if done right (a good combination of cgi and practical effects.) could put this movie over the top of the last one imo. clayface was such a good human story in the animated series of the 90s. and very tragic. OR... just do a bane story. but do it right so its like brokeback batman at the end. either route get some joker shots in prison to bring more fans to the theatre. they screw up bane or clayface i will put on my warpaint and go after anybody involved with the movie.
grif - 1/27/2009, 12:16 PM
Yeah well, remember we all were vey excited when we first heard that J Schoemaker-Shoemaher (or whatever his name is spelled!).

He did "The Lost Boys" and something else and he looked perfect to TAKE OVER Burton´s installments and SHAPE the franchise to his own view...but yes, look what he did with it.
SirJediFrank - 1/27/2009, 12:29 PM
I have to say that I think it is retarded tha they are talking about recycling The Penguin, Riddler, and Catwoman for the next movie. I want to see them use Clayface, Killer Croc, or Scarface even...
SCOURGE - 1/27/2009, 1:20 PM
I think John Malcovich could totally pull off Mr.Freeze i just dont think he should be in the next batman movie. Maybe jigsaw and the riddler who ends up becoming a detective anyways should come in and investigate
Set2Fallfirst - 1/27/2009, 1:31 PM
Well i didn't see it that way. Shittmaker did okay on lost boys but the actors are what actually made that movie good, not the filming. And Flatliners sucked! So i was cryin' when i heard Burton was replaced with that hack!
Shaman - 1/27/2009, 1:34 PM
Well scourge, they "recycled" The Joker for TDK and that worked out ok didnt it? This is a completely new beggining for Batman, I would love to see Nolans take on Catwoman more than any of the other villains..but she would need another villain in the mix i soppose..not a fan of Riddler or Penguin so im hoping for Black Mask or Deadshot, and of course, the return of Mr J
Rorschach01 - 1/27/2009, 1:51 PM

No, it didn't. I hated TDK and Heath's performance as Mr. J....I think both the movie and Heath's performance were both boring and over-hyped. Batman is the only superhero film Warners is able to get made. I would love to see some growth in the Bat film Villian dept....Scarecrow in the first film was a nice (and sadly under-used) change of pace....
SCOURGE - 1/27/2009, 2:09 PM
Well, theres no accounting for taste! I have to ask you, if you dont like TDK, which comicbook movies do you like? Elektra? Fantastic 4?
Rorschach01 - 1/27/2009, 2:23 PM
Gideon:

Amen.
Frank Garret - 1/27/2009, 2:32 PM
Personally I dont think the riddler is a good choice. He is literally the gayest (if thats a word) villian that batman has. Who really wants to see a movie where batman solves riddles around chicago. Catwomen is a good choice because she has no gimick. She's a jewel thief and will stay a jewel theif.

Also black mask because would make a great family because he could take over the mobs since half of them went to jail.

Here's my list

Catwomen
Black Mask
Bane (because he broke batmans back)
Mr. Zsasz
Hugo Strange

Crusader - 1/27/2009, 2:48 PM
ROR-

"...which comicbook movies do you like? Elektra? Fantastic 4?"

LMAO...too funny bro!!!

I think the only way of avoiding the curse of "the third film" is to do something dramatic...BREAK THE BATS BACK!!! If something like that happened I think the franchise could easily pull off a 4th movie.

BRING ON BANE!!!!
Talontd - 1/27/2009, 3:01 PM
I'd like to see how they will try to fit Clayface in the whole 'no super powers' world of TDK.
As for the possibility of Robin joining the cast. Not really looking forward to that one. But if they use him in the next flick the killing of his parents by Boss Zucko, would fit the whole underground mob thing. And the circus would be a nice starting point to introduce a villain like Ragdoll. He's tripple jointed, and in the golden age story's he worked at a carnaval, wich is kind of similar to a circus.

As for other villains, i'd like to see Firefly. Even if it's just for a breef moment. Just some pyromaniac Batman catches in the beginning of the movie. Or how about using Maxie Zeus, he would fit into the whole new TDK world. Maybe introduce Andrea Beaumont as the new love in Bruce's life.
Spilox - 1/27/2009, 3:06 PM
Crusader- First and foremost, Batman is a detective which means he's the best at solving Riddles which also means that one of his most formidable foes IS RIDDLER. Riddler is gay because no one and i mean NO F**KING ONE has done that character justice! Depp and Nolan could. So yes, "recycling" is in order! I've said it too many times already, the best version of the Riddler is on the animated series called "The Batman"! And Depp fills that profile to a "T".

Roar, maybe SCOURGE is a bigger fan of the original "Captain America" movie than TDK. To each own psychosis i guess.
Shaman - 1/27/2009, 3:18 PM
I will believe this once Nolan has signed on to direct. Which I still don't think he has done.

SCOURGE: " I have to say that I think it is retarded tha they are talking about recycling The Penguin, Riddler, and Catwoman for the next movie."

.--WELL i have to say that I think it is RETARDED to call people retarded just because of their comments...and yeah Nolan updated The Joker and etc etc as rorschach says.

--"Shitmaker" hahaha that´s sooo cool! hehe..AND TRUE! :-] ...i suppose i was very naive to think he would pull it off qhen i was 15.

SirJediFrank - 1/27/2009, 3:26 PM
The animated series of the batman did have a better Riddler. I just don't like the fact that he snitches on himself every crime.
Crusader - 1/27/2009, 3:39 PM
Ok since it is all about our proposals, this is my pick for a deeep villain:

RATCATCHER!. .. uuuhh.. who?

You know the guy who lives in the sewers and has control over the rats, wears a gas-mask, and took a judge, a policeman and i think his former lawyer as prisoners in his underground cells.. i read that in the 80´s and that was great.. remember the cover where batman is in the sewers squeezing a rat with his hand, and all biten by rats?
SirJediFrank - 1/27/2009, 3:42 PM
Is that the freaky Riddler with the long hair? Yeah i did like that take on him..only saw a few episodes of The Batman though. But the thing is, that was a completely original Riddler, no comic writer (to my knowledge) has ever written him like that..so to say nobody has ever done him justice suggests that there is some justice to be done..and as far as the comics go..there aint! the only Batman story i ever enjoyed that featured the Riddler was Hush, and he played a sort of red herring part in that.
Rorschach01 - 1/27/2009, 3:52 PM
i still think that bane would be a nice change of pace. give the batman some challenge in the hand to hand arena. he had ras in the first one ya, but bane would be able to manhandle him and batman has never faced that kind of sheer force in the first two films. and if they did use him, id hope they wouldnt just make him some brainless meat head. thats just retarded. and obviously like its been said, the broken back would be a nice story line. adding to the physical challenges bruce would have to overcome.

VitMagic - 1/27/2009, 4:26 PM
I loved Dark Victory and Long Halloween and The Riddler was in those, but he was just a scrawny little puss.

Idk, I'd like to see Nolan's version of The Riddler because I finally saw the original movie with Two Face and Riddler and those characters definitely need some justice. Nolan's already saved Two Face and now he needs to do the same for Riddler. They were awful in that film! They just played gags on Batman and acted like 14 year old girls!

As for Penguin.....Joe Pesci?
ElBeaster - 1/27/2009, 4:27 PM
I'm sure in thinking that The Clock King appeared in the animated series of Batman?!?...I misspelled The Reaper (aka Judson Caspian...socialite by day...ultra-violent vigilante by night)....sorry about that!!

How about the wrath as a possible villain?

If there were to be a Penguin reincarnation, I think Joe Pesci would be a totally inspired choice

Depp or Ryan Reynolds for The Riddler
doc - 1/27/2009, 4:41 PM
I am counting the days
shadowboxer - 1/27/2009, 5:12 PM
How about some cross polinization?

maybe another DC villain? it could be someone not from the bat universe, there are many non powered villains in the DCU (just skip Lex Luthor he should not appear in movies for the next 20 years). I remember there was a Superman villain in the 80s I think it was the toyman, that killed little children, I'd love to see something like that be tackled. If they strayed from the obvious choices (Catwoman, Riddler, Penguin) and made it something completely unexpected I'd be really happy.

Although Killer Moth, Maxie Zeus and Firefly have some interesting aspects that could be portrayed. Hopefully they'll just stick to one or two villains. And Harley Quinn could always help the Joker escape from Arkham.
NoobMike - 1/27/2009, 5:33 PM
Has anyone read the graphic novel the Joker? I love the visual take on The Riddler they have and how is crew is younger kids driving tricked out rice burners. For those who have not read it he is in his usual green bowler hat, has a long dark green coat, and green pants, no shirt under the coat which shows several tatoos across his stomach which form several question marks. His hair resembles Depp's as Willy Wonka. The only thing I did not like about that Riddler is how he had a lame leg and used his question mark cane not for his gimmick but to walk minus that aspect this Riddler is visually perfect for Nolan's realistic view. Riddler is also the perfect choice for the third film's villain because the Bat is a fugitive again. The whole city is after him so why not have one of the most intelligent of Batty's rogues try and unmask the fugitive Batman? Which in turn backfires because the World's Greatest Detective ends up catching the Riddler. Thats the one thing both of Nolan's films lacked is the detective side of Batman, sure there was some detective work (bullet scene in TDK) but very little to make him the "World's Greatest Detective". So lets show a battle of wits in the third film to not outdo TDK but equal in showing Batman's redemption and proving himself of Gotham's true protector.
MidKnight35 - 1/27/2009, 5:39 PM
JJ Abrams has stated publicly that he would love to film a Dark Night Returns. I always thought that book would translate well to film given the right director and not straying from the novel.

Thoughts, anyone?
gtrman - 1/27/2009, 6:07 PM
Everyone say this with me..... "Catwoman" played by none-other than ...
wait for it...... KATE BECKINSALE !!!

RIDDLE .... Johnny Depp.

rawshark - 1/27/2009, 6:10 PM
Yeah grtman i would love to see that someday. I wouldnt even mind a few (slight) deviations from the comic as long as the main plot points went un[frick]ed with.

i would actually love for Nolan to take a cue from TDKR and set the next movie a few years after the events of TDK..dont make batman like 50, just about 4 or 5 years
Rorschach01 - 1/27/2009, 6:20 PM
I would like to see Clay Face. I am all up for whoever had the idea of having Batman arrest either Killer Croc or some other Villain first scene of the movie. That would be a great way to start it off, and let the audience know that Batman fries a lot of big fish often, not just during movie time.
Juicerules - 1/27/2009, 6:23 PM
Sweet can't wait, I just hope they don't blow it. It hink Black Mask would be awesome in it.
THEHAWK - 1/27/2009, 6:26 PM
I would love to see Nolan's interpretation of Black Mask. He is a very interesting and complex character and is rarely used. He could probably be the most adaptable to Nolan's version. Another two character's who would be good in the film would be Professor Strange and maybe Bane. Strange of course would not offer an actual fight, but he could be a more subtle looming threat to Batman. Bane done right would e amazing on film. He is not some drooling hulk like in Batman and Robin, but is an intelligent and deadly foe. Here’s my idea of how it could possibly be done.

At the start of the film a group of crime lords are meeting. They are discussing that despite being hunted the Batman is still destroying their empires, and the fact that they now have a reliable money launderer. One of them mentions a man known as "The Black Mask”, who is beginning to move in on their turf. As they discuss what to do about him the doors break in. A group of men wearing featureless masks rush in carrying automatics. After they come in and hold guns on the bosses a man wearing a dark black mask enters the room. He tells the bosses he's not going to kill them, yet. He doesn't want to fight and he doesn't just want a piece of the pie, he wants the whole thing. They either join him or disappear. As he leaves one of the Bosses bodyguards draws on the mask. The Mask pulls out a pair of 9mm and kills him, and then leaves. The bosses agree something must be done.

Then cut to Batman fighting a gang of the masked men at a brokerage form use as a front to launder money. He was looking for clues, and interrupted them robbing the place. He beats them, of course, and questions one of them. The thug reveals that they are the False Face Society. He leaves to avoid security; after he leaves the camera shows the legs of a man with an umbrella. Batman investigates further and learns, at the new Batcave, that the thug he questioned works for Sionis International.

Cut to Roman Sionis staring at a city he wants to be his. Roman is the CEO of a rival company to Wayne Enterprise. He became CEO after his parent’s Mysterious death in a house fire, he inherited everything. Roman also is behind a recent upsurge in crime in the city. He uses his company as a front for the mob, a new mask wearing gang known as The False Face Society. Batman realizes this and begins to investigate Roman as Batman and Bruce Wayne.
Meanwhile the mayor has brought in a specialist to determine the Batman's identity, Profesor Hugo Strange, the new director at Arkham. Strange claims that given the right resources he can discover the Batman's identity and cure him of his "disease".

The members of the mob are trying to protect their holdings from the cop and Batman; all the while they are attempting to prevent Roman's men from infiltrating and absorbing their organizations. They agree something must be done about the Bat. One crime boss suggests they bring in "outside help". The others agree, but only as a last resort, not wanting a repeat of the Joker.

Bruce Wayne begins to get closer to the truth about Roman's dealings; So Roman decides to hire an assassin to eliminate Wayne. Wayne is at a press conference speaking about Roman's corruption and illegal dealings when Commissioner Gordon (Who was there) recognizes a serial killer from Arkham in the crowd approaching Wayne as they were leaving. He saves Wayne from Mr. Zsasz. Zsasz succeeds in stabbing Wayne in the leg. Zsasz now in custody admits that Roman hired him to murder Wayne, and that Roman is the Black Mask.

Roman, now ruined, goes into hiding were he begins losing his grip on reality. His gang the False Face Society holds him in reverence because of all the success they have had under his leadership. He dons the mask and decides to take the city by force.

The mayor is speaking to Gordon and Strange about Batman and the Mask. He tells Gordon to give Strange his full assistance. He also tells Strange to build a profile of the Mask as well. Strange holds a news conference updating the people about his search into the identity of Batman. He says that batman had experienced loss at some time in his life, and was probably rich. He also comments that Roman is a sick and sad individual. He has become lost in the Black Mask persona. Mask angered by this puts a hit out on Strange. Feeling that Roman is no longer a threat for the moment, Batman has some unfinished business. He finally found who is laundering money for the mob and goes to find evidence on him. Batman goes to the Iceberg club and records a conversation between the owner Oswald Cobblepot and a member of the mob. Batman is seen spying on them and busts through the window, he fights the guards as Cobblepot, and the mobster run out into the club. Batman, wrestling with a thug falls out in to the club, the thug’s gun goes off and the patrons run screaming. Batman defeats the thug and corners Cobblepot, which is still clutching his umbrella. Batman begins to ask Cobblepot were the mobster went when coble pot points his umbrella at Batman and tries to shoot him. Batman leaves Cobblepot and his thugs tied up in front of the club along with a recording of their conversation. Word reaches the crime bosses and one of them says “Call Him”

Strange is attacked and saved by Batman. During the fight strange notices Batman has a limp. Batman tells Strange that he should back off, and goes to leave. Strange tells Batman that he and Black Mask are both cowards hiding behind masks. After Batman leaves Strange says "Goodnight Bruce".
Gordon is revealed to have secretly been researching Strange. He finds out that Strange has been experimenting on the patients at Arkham. It is revealed that he let Zsasz out to see what would happen. Gordon is even more alarmed to find out that the Joker has disappeared along with Strange's assistant Dr. Quinzel. Gordon has a warrant issued for Strange's arrest. When they arrest him Strange claims that he knows who Batman is, the cops don't care saying Strange would say anything at that point. The mob bosses are waiting in the back of a club for the outsider. They all fear that they will be caught. The boss who suggested they get help comes in and says “We need no longer fear the bat, gentlemen allow me to introduce, Bane.” They look and see a huge imposing man wearing a long, closed trench coat and a black and white mask. They are in awe with intimidation and he speaks in a deep accented voice “I will break him.”

Black Mask begins a war on Gotham using terrorist tactics and guerilla warfare. He sends a bomb to Wayne towers nearly demolishing it. He destroys city hall next. He then destroys the main bridge to Gotham killing hundreds. The cops and Batman are too busy trying to prevent attacks to try and find the Mask. Black Mask is revealed to be operating out of a mausoleum in Gotham cemetery. He sends a letter to the mayor demanding $100,000,000 and Batman or he would continue to destroy the city, he gives them one 4 days.
Meanwhile it is revealed that someone has bailed Strange out of jail. He is forced into a blacked out limo where he is confronted by the Black Mask, who demands the identity of Batman. Strange says “don’t hurt me I’ll tell you everything.” Mask replies “You will, and I will”.

Bruce is angry with himself. He sits in a hair holding his mask, staring at it, staring at himself. “It’s my fault Alfred; I should have gone after him.” Alfred tells him he did what he thought was best. Going after Cobblepot crippled the mob. Alfred gives an uplifting speech. A car is later seen driving up to Wayne Manor.
Bruce dons the mask and becomes the Batman once again.

Strange is found in an alley cut, burned, bloody and driven half mad from being tortured. He is loaded in to an awaiting ambulance. The ambulance drives off for a distance and stops. Strange, strapped to the gurney realizes something is wrong. The driver enters the back of the ambulance and is revealed to be Bane. “Another mask,” mutters Strange. “You will tell me who is the Batman” Bane says. Strange says that he won’t tell there is nothing left to him now except the secret. “I respect your courage professor. I to know something about knowledge, and pain. I learned about it in the prison where I grew up. That’s where I got this.”He touches a button on a pad on his arm. The camera focuses on Strange as he looks on in horror at Bane. Bane is shown an unknown time later exiting the ambulance and getting into a car and driving off.

Gordon gives the letter from Mask to Batman. Batman finds that the letter has a chemical associated with decomposed flesh on it. He then realizes that the Black Mask is hiding in a cemetery. He goes to the Batpod and speeds away out of the cave. Bane is seen watching the Batman leave.

Batman approaches the cemetery which is situated outside of the main city on a cliff which overlooks Gotham River. Batman enters the cemetery and makes his way to the mausoleums. On the way he is spontaneously attacked by dozens of members of the False Face society. He could easily take 8 of these guys at once but not this many at one time. By the time Batman makes it to the Sionis family mausoleum he is cut, bloodied and weakened, but still resolved. “Hello Bruce, we’ve been waiting.” HE looks in the doorway of the Mausoleum and sees Black Mask holding a gun on Alfred and one pointed at Batman. “I know all about your secret, join me together we can rule this city, you and I we’re two of a kind” Mask says. Batman replies “I don my mask to protect the people of the city, not kill. You, you have become consumed by hate, that is your true face your mask was roman Sionis. You now appear as evil as you are.” Mask prepares to shoot Alfred, when Batman lunges at him knocking them both down the stairs into the mausoleum. As they fall Black Mask shoots Batman, he is still hit but the damage is lessened by his armor. As they land at the bottom of the stairs Black Mask’s head slams against the sarcophagus of his parents, snapping his neck.

Batman crawls outside and unties Alfred and prepares to leave the cemetery. “Stop Batman and face me” says a gruff Hispanic voice. Batman turns as a huge gloved fist comes his way. He looks and sees the huge intimidating figure. “I am Bane, and I will break you.” He lunges at Batman driving him through a wall and out into the cemetery. Batman breaks free of him and backs away. He stops when he gets to a courtyard that is at the edge of the cliff. “You are stronger than I thought, but see if you can face me now.” Bane presses the button on his wrist, and suddenly he seems to grow. Batman looks on as Bane appears to swell and grow. Bane flexes and the trench coat shreds like paper, revealing a man whose mussels are swelling, wearing a tight leather and Kevlar body suit. There is a tube on the back of Bane’s head running into his suit. “This tube feeds a mixture of steroids into my brain making me unstoppable. He rushes Batman, Batman dodges and delivers a series of blows his movement hindered by his wounds. Bane grabs him and proceeds to “Break the Bat” Batman’s back makes a cracking noise and Bane throws him down Batman draws what strength he can and hurls a Batarang at the tube, slicing it. Bane howl in agony as fluid shoots out of the tube and his head. He backs up and falls over the ledge of the courtyard, falling over the cliff. He falls several feet and lands on a ledge, unmoving. Alfred comes and finds Bruce and takes him away.
He leaves in Bane’s car; the police are seen in the background. A barely conscious Batman touches a button on his belt and the Bat pod blows up.

Well there you go my idea for a possible script. I know its missing alot but hey they have two years to come up with something amazing. I know that a love interest maybe Catwoman could be worked in there somewhere. For actors-
All of the original actors of course. Black Hood- Vincent Cassel- played François Toulour aka Night fox in Oceans 12

Oswald Cobblepot (Penguin)- Joe Pesci

Mr.Zsasz- Tim Booth lead singer of James repising his role from Batman Begins

Bane- Maybe Danny Trejo he has the size for it, playe Machete in Planet Terror, and played in Desporado.

THEHAWK - 1/27/2009, 7:40 PM
Oh crap, sorry I didn't realize it was that long, well let me know what you think. If they did something like that and gave a bunch of nods to the fan community it could come close to TDK. It would need startling cinematics, and dare I say it get darker. I'd like to see maybe three more films.
THEHAWK - 1/27/2009, 7:41 PM
Vern troyer for mad hatter! Ellen DeGeneras as Poison Ivy! It'll work!

...Is he lying? I can't tell! HAHAHAHA!
amjac1 - 1/27/2009, 7:50 PM
I think this is how they sould do it. A friend of mine recently came up with an idea for three more sequels for the batman series and I think its the only way to go. By no means does it beat the dark knight but it still makes for great story telling. In the next movie have the black mask come in and reorgainze the mob with lady shiva as his bodyguard. While the mad hatter brain washes people random people around the city overshadowing the crimes he commits. The police and batman work together again and by the end of the movie Gotham Starts to feel safer than its ever been and bruce feels batman may not be needed anymore. At the very end have him mention going to see the circus because he hears the acrobats are amazing. In the forth movie have Bruce adopt a 13 to 15 year old Grayson after his parents die (because of a low life gangster not two-face) because he believes batman isnt needed anymore. Than have Bane (the real Bane not the Bane from the batman and robin nightmare) break into Arkum and let all the criminals out. Bruce becomes batman once again and takes himself to the edge recapturing Arkums inmates. At the end Bane starts the breaking of th bat and as Bane brings batman down Grayson rips out Banes venom tubes saving batman. Not once shoud they put Grayson in the Robin suit. If they do a fifth one then is when you bring in the riddler, and catwoman or possible bring back the Joker and Harley Quinn. If they dont want to use Grayson in the fifth one than they can just say hes off at school. My friend Josh came up with this plot line the day after the dark knight came out and to me this sounds like a @#%& good way to go.
corin - 1/27/2009, 9:03 PM
The Mad Hatter would be cool, but he might be a little hard to bring to thbig screen. But Nolan is very creative. Don't sound bad though.
THEHAWK - 1/27/2009, 9:31 PM
I still like the idear of Firefly as a raving pyromaniac terrorizing the city. But not as a main villain. Just as a side story.

As for killer croc and clayface, i'd like to see them in the movie, but i don't think it really fits into the direction the movies are going. Maybe kill of solomon grundy first (as a modern criminal) and than introduce a little magic or nuclear mutation. You've got to build up to introduce such a mayor change in a kind of 'non super-power' world.

As for the riddler, would work, but then he should co-star with someone like Maddhatter or Quizmaster.
I would love to see Kate Beckinsale in a scimpy cat suit, but don't think she would be right for the part as cat woman, although it might work. But i think someone like alyssa milano would be a more playfull pussycat :P.
Spilox - 1/28/2009, 4:47 AM
Actually, i don't want to see a bruised and beaten up batman skimping and getting discovered and having to fight all the time, getting his back broken and bitch slapped all over the place in the next chapter. This would be his third movie and he should have more experience and act like the ninja he really is. He's a shadow and i want him to be silent and frightful! I want people to be even more scared of batman than ever before in this movie and i want them to exploit his detective side as MidKnight35 mentionned. He is the world's greatest detective and so far he's been acting like a rooky. I want him to be established as undisputed in combat so that Riddler can try the other route to defeat him...wits. Of course pawns will be there to provide action for the masses but as for the main villain, i believe Brain would be better than Brawn. THEN after the third movie making him practically untouchable in hand to hand, Bane could be a nice addition as well as Lady Shiva to surprise us. To take away our "safety blanket" we took for granted having him getting his back broken. And he'll need a love interest of course which should be Andrea Beaumont. Her familly could be killed off in the fourth movie to bring us the amazing "Mask of the Phantasm" as a fifth storyline. Having her be the mask and of course have the Joker return with Harley Quinn.
Shaman - 1/28/2009, 8:05 AM
Anybbody read the One-Shot: ROBIN:THE GAUNTLET?
(The cover is all Black/White, robin standind with crossed arms -just robin´s cape is red- and the batman silouette behind him)

it tells the untold story of the first solo-mission of Dick Grayson, his final test to become Bruce´s companion. In the story, Dick must hide 24 hrs in gotham, while Batman chases him...but robin unexpectedly is witness to a mob-job, and now Robin has to save his own life escaping all night from the gansters and a mob boss, and at the same time he must elude Batman´s DETECTIVE skills (cause bruce follows him all night, with just little clues he finds in order to catch Robin.)

The mobs caught robin in the docks, tie him but escapes. by now the batman is aware of the situation but does not intervene (since this is a very good test for robin to defend himself), which he does well and escapes to a ship.

When Robin is trapped between guns and some barrils, only then The Batman emerges from the top of the now flaming ship, for the gansters to see him (but not Dick)..they shout: No! it is not fair! Dick doesn´t know what they are looking at but takes advantage of their distraction and beats them.
At the end Batman "arrives" at the docks with the police to arrest the gangsters...
...then Commander Gordon asks to Batman. " And who is this one?"
-Dick thinks Batman would be angry with him for provoking this mess in the first place, but instead
..Batman says: "My New Partner!".

YES I KNOW I KNOW I KNOW there is : No Riddler No Bane No Firefly NO ONE...BUT IT IS SET IN THE REAL WORLD.

And yes, Dick MUST BE INTRODUCED WAY BEFORE this story starts, so i am thinking it could work for the FOURTH movie, and having dick grayson being introduced somewhere in the NEXT ONE with the Whole gangsters-storyline in the circus, like SPILOX Said:

"As for the possibility of Robin joining the cast. Not really looking forward to that one. But if they use him in the next flick the killing of his parents by Boss Zucko, would fit the whole underground mob thing."

..which has been a subplot constant in the Nolan episodes, and could exploit the detective skills that MidKnight35 and Shaman talk about.
SirJediFrank - 1/28/2009, 11:12 AM
SirJed, that's the best damn storyline i heard for a follow up movie in waaayy too long! Thank you very much for bringing that story to my attention, i hadn't even heard of it! If Grayson is to be brought in, i really hope they'll use this plot! Gread job Jed :)
Shaman - 1/28/2009, 12:50 PM
THE HAWK ,,,, HOLY S**T dude thats some read LOL! Yeah cool, ive always said BLACK MASK,, ALSO theres DEADPOOL, DEATHSTRIKE etc! Just NO RIDDLER, CATWOMAN etc ffs!!! NEW VILLAIN'S A MUST! ; )
LEEE777 - 1/28/2009, 2:43 PM
Thanks Shaman, (i accept the "thanks" only if i did justice to the authors of that comicbook storyline and if i could make it sound good and congruent with my writting, i mean).

You Know, in the BATMAN BEGINS DVD the Nolan brothers and Goyer said they did A LOT OF RESEARCH from the comicbooks stories and the graphic novels..The Long Halloween, etc.

What i mean is that if they decide to take in the Grayson character, that means they´ll do research ON HOW TO get him aboard in a reasonable way in the NolanUniverse... and i bet that one-shot will be before their eyes one of these days!!! :-]
SirJediFrank - 1/28/2009, 3:39 PM
Hahaha, sirjed, that's totally the picture i had in my head. If they use dickie, they'dd better do it like that.
Spilox - 1/28/2009, 4:27 PM
I WANT THE THIRD TO BE THE LAST. end it with a badass trilogy...and not have it get cluster [frick]ed like the "batman legacy movies [1989-1996] or whatever the years were...those were just like eh.

I want this to be a SOLO...no robin. no leads. Just finish it. Take your time as much time as they need...I dont want another spiderman 3 lol.
Aiiwolf - 1/28/2009, 8:15 PM
I loved the conceptual titles for each movie so far.

Batman Begins

THe Dark Knight:[Title showed up in the end of the movie not beginning which was just flawlessly beautiful]

...I hope the next movie is something without the "batman" copyright trade in it...kinda like what they did naming the movie "The Dark Knight"...I hope the third is called...

"Return of the Knight"....or "Shadow of the Bat"...or they could always name it after Frank Millers graphic novel "The Dark Knight Returns"...I know its relevent to Batman Returns....but it could work.
Aiiwolf - 1/28/2009, 8:21 PM
If they name it TDKR it damn well better follow the same story! I like the title Gotham Knights..could refer to Gordon and whoever else they choose to put in the movie
Rorschach01 - 1/28/2009, 9:12 PM
I'm sorry but any one who wants croc or clayface in the next movie is retarded, the reason why Batman Begins and The Dark Knight were so great was because of the realism of Nolan's vision of Gotham, this would be thrown away with these two villains, I'm for riddler and/or cat woman
BOOK552 - 1/28/2009, 9:30 PM
I have a suggestion for the third and hopefully final installment, check out franchisefix (my fansite on here) to see.
TheDurkinKnight - 1/28/2009, 10:33 PM
Sirjedi, wow that sounds awesome, I've got to look it up. Thanks for the positive feedback LEEE777.

I like Riddler, Penguin and Catwoman, but I'm not sure the next movie shiuld focus on the Riddler yet again. Penguin could be a minor mob character and not a major foe. catwoman would be awesome character if she is done right.
I agree Batman has not had the chance to show his true detective skill and physical abilities. I don't think that Batman has been properly test to the full of his abilities in the last two movies. In the first one Ra's Al Ghul tested him physically and mentally but Batman was still learning the ropes and didn't hav as many skills. The Joker test him on a psychological level, but it still did not go far enough. In the next movie HE should be tested to his limits. Black mask and or Bane could face him Physically. The Black Mask has the manpower and resources of the False Face Society, or hired killers like Zsasz. Bane is the ultimate physical challenge for Batman, his strenght is overwelming, and he is a skilled and intelligent warrior. Strange and the Police would offer a different threat, Batman is beig persued by the cops the people he is trying to help and protect. Strange offers a unique opposition, he puts Batman's secret identity in danger,he also proposes the fact that Batman is as crazy as the people he faces. As he goes through these challenges it shows his resolve, and and even thogh his body can be broken it shows that his will can't. It makes us see him as human and yet more than human if tat makes since.
THEHAWK - 1/28/2009, 10:45 PM
ssssoooo seriously nobody wants to see HUSH in the next movie. I mean the guy parallels bruce wayne in so many ways I think it'd be interesting to see the interaction between the two characters. Besides, if you're going to incorporate the riddler Hush might be a good way to do it.
j2cool2 - 1/29/2009, 4:07 AM
Hush would be good in a movie, but he is later in Batman;s career. He'd be awesome in a 4th or 5th film. It'd be cool if in this film they introduce Thomas Elliot, and give a little bit of his background, making him an old childhood friend of Bruce's who secretly resents him. That could leave open the chance for a sequel. But the character has only been around about 7 years. Nolan will probably end uo going through more established villians like Riddler, or even older and obscure villians like Black Mask. But hey it could happen.
THEHAWK - 1/29/2009, 5:32 AM
Ra's tested his phisical limits, Joker tested his values and his sanity but no one has tested Batman's intelect and Riddler would be perfect for it. THEN you can bring in Bane and Shiva to overcome him. Black mask is cool but all he has are henchmen. So he could be incorporated in the next two movies to establish his reign. But in the third movie, HE HAS TO BE BATMAN! And the BATMAN we know ain't no one's bitch! The whole point of Bane breaking Batman's back is the same concept as Doomsday killing Superman. It's to show that we shouldn't take anything for granted, to destroy our established security. And so far, Batman hasn't given us anything to take for granted. He must go beyond human limits in the next chapter. To become something bigger so that his fall in the follow up will hurt the most!
Shaman - 1/29/2009, 7:13 AM
The point of Batman begins did make him something bigger. "An idea" or "legend".

They should put in jason todd for robin, and joker kills him in the middle or begining of the movie. That way they put robin in the movie, but also takes him out

and If Riddle was in batman, it will be a Dark Knight mix with Saw 5
Crusader - 1/29/2009, 9:23 AM
Hey Crusader i would pay for the Joker killing Superchild form Superman Returns instead!! haha LOL

but yeah for those who don´t feel comfortable with robin, using the Jason Todd´s tragedy would fit..but in the beginning of the movie Jason should be stealing the batmobiles´s tires, and ending in Ethiopia trying to find his mother and having Batman witnessing the explosion etc...Jason would travel alone and the Joker would secretly follow him just to piss off bruce!

Everybody yeah look for that One-Shot! I saw it for months inside the cellophan bag but wasn´t really sure to check it out, until i asked to an employee to show it to me, i flipped some pages and got hooked.. in the back the words "untold story of Richard Grayson´s final test" made me say WOW. it should´ve been from around 1999 to 2002.

Shaman: Yes like you´ve said to many people in these threads, The Doomsday drama is not just "Superman fighting a big monster and dies" like someone said, rememeber? It is as you say, the destruction of a myth, an icon, the indestructible hero.

Having said that, i think the general public shoulb be properly prepared beforehand (with A LOT of teaser posters, radio and tv commercials, web hints and docs, etc) THAT SOMETHING VERY VERY DARK IS COMING to Superman´s life and world and in the case of BANE, WB should prepare people WAY before a movie with him comes out....

otherwise GENERAL PEOPLE will just say:
- "hey have you already seen the new batman movie?
..-"Oh.. yes, where THAT MASKED GUY FROM THE BATMAN AND ROBIN MOVIE, breaks batman´s back?? That sucks"
-"yeah".
..
IF NOT DOING IT PROPERLY, i mean..it would be just another Kripto-continent-LAME!. :-]
SirJediFrank - 1/29/2009, 11:45 AM
True, it would have to be very well done to even fit in Nolan's realistic anti-hero-verse.
Shaman - 1/29/2009, 12:04 PM
I like Riddler but he is to overdone. His gimmick makes him predictable. The major shortcoming with him is his psychological need to tell the truth in his crimes. But if anyone could do it it would be Nolan. The reason I feel that the Black Mask should be in it is because his character is never used. And he is nott an idiot he is highly intelligent and manipulative, have you read Batman War Games if not look t up its pretty good.
THEHAWK - 1/29/2009, 3:02 PM
Thehawk, I've just read your story on how B3 should be, and you had 6 bat villians. Thats more than the 90's batman movies.
Crusader - 1/29/2009, 5:23 PM
First there was only five Strange, Black Mask, and Bane, are the main three with Penguin and Zsasz as filler characters. If they did something like that it would give the possibility of characters like the Penguin returning in future films if they did one. Zsasz has already appeared in the series once, he could have a short sequence like what I've got. Penguin doesn't need a movie I just put him in there to show that a multi villlian film could work. Penguin doesn't seem like an itersting character to build a film around. I think Black Mask could work in a film, he could be ground in realism like Nolan has done with his movies so far. When I first wrote that story it had no Penguin, I put him in as an after thought to give more story. I feel that Bane deserves a better portrayal than he recieved in Batman and Robin. Him, Black Mask, Joker then Riddler/ Strange(Can't decide) are my favorite villians. I feel that Bane's portrayal in Batman and Robin was somewhat lacking, his portrayal was....... bad, just bad. I know that everyone whats a Riddler movie ad I agree it probaby would be good, but I feel the character is over used thats my main problam with him. And Crusader don't worry they probably will go in a different direction on the film, that was just what I thought would work, I mean that was ony about an hour work on the story. Oh and I don't mind the criticism, I want to write for a living so tell me what you think, what you like or don't like about it.
THEHAWK - 1/29/2009, 9:08 PM
a while back i read a comment on the site saying pinguin should be like a snitch. Make him a night club owner that Batman has to go to for info now that he has to lay low for a bit. Just introduce him into the movies but give him a small part. Let another villain take the lead. I like that idea. And i think it also shows a bit of the old school detective side of the bat story's.
Riddler would be a nice choice as the main villain. I'd even like to see Depp portrait him. But i can't help thinking about Jack Sparrow everythim is see him in a movie.
Spilox - 1/30/2009, 4:17 AM
I agree with Spilox about the penguin being a snitch. But HAWK, Riddler has been overly "missused". Meaning, nothing except the animated series ever did the character justice. And i would love to see Nolan and Depp finally do Riddler justice. There is no character that has been more used than Joker and TDK still kicked ass so Riddler, being Batman's MOST intelligent foe, would be the next best chapter. Black Mask isn't an idiot and i never said he was. I quite enjoy him in off stories but in the movies you gotta go with the best possible story. The movie industry has no place what so ever for "not bad" movies. They need to be great and surpass any predecessors. And as much as i enjoy Black Mask as a fan boy, the masses won't connect to him just being a gang leader taking over the city with a mask on. They need something extra to make it that much more interesting than just a "Psychotic Gangs of Gotham" movie. They need the li'l extra spice that Joker brought and quite frankly, not many Bat-villains have that to bring to the average movie goers. But Riddler does. Just imagine TDK without Joker but put a black mask on Eric Roberts... I just really can't logically see that many people lining up to see that. Especially not 500 million dollars worth. Mr. Freeze would also be a nice choice, however it seems a bit too unrealistic for Nolan. As for Croc and Bane, neither of them fit in Nolan's realistic universe. It's not that i don't want to see them, it's that Batman has more "realistic" enemies he could encounter before those two.

The image of what Riddler should be just came to mind. If you watch the monumental crap fest which was "Once upon a squat in Mexihole", you can notice Depp's performance as a cold blooded, conscienceless yet calm and proffessionnal killer. That's what i'd like Riddler to be but smarter and absolutely obsessed with riddles meaning he couldn't have a conversation with someone without giving them one.
Shaman - 1/30/2009, 7:30 AM
I agree I used a poor choice of words earlier, he has been misused. I agree the only portrayed him as a credible threat and foe was the animated series. I only fear that this film could go either way it could be an awesome film, but his character could be taken to far. I mean imagine a guy wereing a question mark suit running around town. Have you read Joker the graphic novel, if they made him like that, it would be cool. But another thing he is not a strong combatant, so he needs some brawn to go with his brains. Batman still needs that grand villain fight in all of his movies he hasn't been tested to his full physical or mental abilities. I'd like to see an attack on two fronts. I still think that Black Mask or Bane should be in it. If they did use Catwoman Black Mask could be used, in recent years he has sort of a fued with her. I really want justice to be done toBane he is my favorite character in Batman comics. It was stated a few years ago that he was One of the most inteligent foes Batman had, he figured out Batmans secret identity in less than a year, Riddler had to be dunked in a Lazerus Pit to figure it out. He is has superior strength but not superior combat skills. I'd still like a Bane or Black Mask film. Even if its just a Riddler movie I'd see it, the only actor who could pull it off withut making it campy or shddy would be Johnny Depp. Chris Nolan may be the one to save these characters from obscurity. It may be difficult to make a beleivable film but "I believe in Chris Nolan"
THEHAWK - 1/30/2009, 9:12 PM
Hearing that there's gonna be a Batman 3 is great but i fear for the worse if Nolan wont be aboard especially how most PART 3's are crap (Blade3, Spiderman3, T3, etc).

Nolan set the perfect tone and world for Batman to live in and i really hope the next director (in case Nolan isnt aboard) respects his vision and follows it... why? it works and i dont see any other vision better.

Ive seen GREAT comicbooks and movies become total crap when a director/writer pushes his/her own and disrespects the previous team. Like what happened to movies like Terminator, Blade and Jurrasic Park as well as comic books like HULK (from WWH to RULK) and Ultimates.

As for villains. Guys like Killer Croc, Clayface and other superpowered baddies dont seem to fit in that world. Bane, Ridler and Catwoman on the other hand would be perfect. But the question is how would they fit the plot? At the end of TDK, Batman is a fugitive... he is a criminal sought by the law. I think one villain would be enough coz the cops will be all over Bats.
JamesH - 2/1/2009, 6:52 AM
Re-Cast the joker I say!
amazingbagman - 2/1/2009, 9:33 AM
no, you don't recast the joker, that is foolish, you give a nod to how he was murdered in prison, has disappeared, or is in an inescapable cell in space for all i care. you can't recast the joker. johnny depp ridler however.. :^)
Godl1ng - 2/1/2009, 8:46 PM
Hyperealistic (non-sci fi) villains:

1. ANARKY (Wikipedia: "Lonnie Machin, a teenage prodigy who, believing in anarchism, creates improvised gadgets and attempts to subvert government in order to improve society.") Very similar to Alan Moore's V.

2. DEADSHOT ("Floyd Lawton is a suicidal assassin who wears a colorful costume in the hopes that someone will shoot him."). Need to mention he's really good with guns, especially sniper guns.

3. HUSH ("childhood friend of Bruce Wayne's, Thomas "Tommy" Elliot targets both Batman and Bruce Wayne. Although Hush's name originates from a nursery rhyme, Hush lives up to it by using manipulation and guile instead of noisy "signatures"). Looks like Two-Face with the bandages in The Dark Knight Returns.

4. THE REAPER: ("Judson Caspian is a socialite by day and an ultra-violent vigilante by night. After losing his wife to a robbery, he becomes The Reaper.") He's like an extremist, fundamentalist version of Batman.
ORION - 2/1/2009, 9:22 PM
I do have a few things to say here. First, is that Christian Bale and Chris Nolan both have contracts to do 3 Batman movies. Second, something I read, a little while ago, is that Nolan will NOT put in Robin, at all. So, no Robin in the any of Nolan's movies. Can be there another person who helps Batman out? Possibly. Fourth, they did leave the Joker's demise up in the air. They could just place his costume in Arkham, like they did the Riddler's costume, and just move on from there. Or, after Nolan/Bale are done, they can recast the Joker, or even use a body double and synthesized voice to play the character. Personally, I think they are going to go with an old enemy, from the comic books, and a couple other things, too.
One change to come will be a new Batmobile. Second, they are probably going to change, again, the Batman suit. Another one will probably be Batcave, from Batman Begins.
SirTwist - 2/1/2009, 11:34 PM
Recasting the joker still seems like a bad move to me!
There has to be a reason to put in a villain. At least it's got to make some sence. It will probably have to do with the underground mob or with batman being seen as a killer
Spilox - 2/2/2009, 11:12 AM
And oh, forgot to mention this as well... 2011? Damn, DC's going head on with BATS against Captain America and the Avengers!

DC had round 1 with TDK vs Ironman. Who will win this time? :)
JamesH - 2/3/2009, 9:11 AM
He could possibly throw in batgirl, couldn't he? Not that he will, but as far as sidekicks go it was Robin and Batgirl, right? Were there others?
Pidge - 2/9/2009, 2:25 PM
Since Batman went into exile from the people, then why not continue that story. Have the Riddler interrogate the Joker, and also have Riddler have tie-ins with the mafia. Making crime to seriously go up, and having Batman come back. Bring Two-Face back to kill the Riddler, and make a final alliance with Mr. Freeze and Two-Face.

That's right, people! An alliance of revenge...
kyle dalton - 4/28/2009, 2:22 PM
oh and also. it is not our decision to make. if nolan wants the joker back, then let. it is about story, and not someones protrayal. ledger's was good, yet just move on...
kyle dalton - 4/28/2009, 2:25 PM
I should say so they have alot of fixing up to do there have messed with the code of batman .whats needs to be fixed is.
batman needs a villian which depp or the doctor who guy will due fine as long as its the hush riddler.
bruce wayne needs a villian different from batman the old one was the ceo then the lawyer, they need somone like bruce to challenge him say oswald cobblepot not yet penguin but mention only a nickname.and batman and bruce need a singular love interest like catwoman.
all hoping for a return of scarecrow or bane, and harleyquinn needs a cameo.alissa milano as harlyquinn and maybe bane ,Dalip Singh would be good just by looks of a real bane ,and a new high tech batcave and mansion no more penthouse or batshacks.
