OFFICIAL PRESS RELEASE

Bluewater Productions is proud to announce that it is joining forces with Paul J. Salamoff, a twenty-year veteran of the Film & TV Industry, to pen a number of exciting new titles based on licensed properties to be released in late 2009.

Over the years Salamoff has worked as a Make-Up FX Artist, Producer, Writer, Director, Author and Film Executive (President of Production, Rat Bastard Prod.) He also serves as Film Moderator for The Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror Films. “What attracted us to Paul is that he brings these combined talents as well as a filmic sensibility to the world of comics and graphic novels,” says Bluewater’s publisher Darren Davis.

As a screenwriter, Salamoff has written features for the screen as well as the Sci-Fi Channel. He is also author of two non-fiction books: On The Set: The Hidden Rules of Movie Making Etiquette and The Complete DVD Book (co-written with Chris Gore).

Raised on a healthy diet of science fiction and horror from the age of five, writing for the comic world was a natural fit for Salamoff. When asked about his experience with Bluewater, he had this to say:

“Working with Bluewater has truly been a rewarding experience. Their attention to detail is fantastic and the Artists in their stable are top notch. The comics have turned out far better than I could possibly have imagined.”

Davis adds to this with:

“Paul has great love and respect for genre material. It is clear in all his writing that he attempts to elevate the material and approach it with a fresh perspective.”

Salamoff has just finished penning Black Scorpion and Deathstalker & Barbarian Queen, two 4- Issue series under the Roger Corman Presents banner.

“Paul has been a fan of Roger Corman his entire life and brought that passion to this new series.” said Davis. “Paul is also developing a couple of Bluewater’s properties into feature films, which we will announce soon.”
