Did they do this backwards or sumthing?

InSpace - 10/28/2009, 2:37 PM
This movie looks like it's going to be crazy.
BmanHall - 10/28/2009, 2:44 PM
@InSpace: What do you mean?
SoratheKey - 10/28/2009, 2:51 PM
Haven't we seen this trailer once, I'm mean apart from some clips, this still focus mainly on Depp as The Mad Hatter......Ohhh(wait for it)......It is Depp like you never seen him before(cough) as the Mad Hatter in a movie by no other than his partner in crime Tim Burton in The Mad Hatt... I mean Alice in Wonderlands.

Well it wouldn't surprise me if Burton took a lot of liberties with Depp's role just to get him more screen time.

So this is where Wily Wonka ended up in after his factory was shut down.

I have a feeling that somebody out there will make a fan trailer with footage of depp from this combined with batman to make a batman vs mad hatter fan movie. Trust me itll happen.
IronMarvel - 10/28/2009, 5:45 PM
This trailer cut short?
Betty - 10/28/2009, 6:49 PM
@Betty: No I think people are right... it's the same original trailer only with the scenes played backwards... or something like that!
SoratheKey - 10/28/2009, 7:03 PM
I'm kinda excited for this one. I hope they put in the Jabberwock and the Vorpal Blade :) Best damn nonsense poem ever!
MultiPurposePoni - 10/28/2009, 9:09 PM
Willy Wonka's a tranny.
ClintEastwood - 10/28/2009, 10:04 PM
Feh! Can't watch it at work!
Nemesys - 10/29/2009, 9:28 AM
Just looks alright, probably will focus more on Johnny Depp which is disappointing.
ClintEastwood - 10/29/2009, 11:05 AM
The movie isn't even out yet and already its a masterpiece?
juggy4711 - 10/29/2009, 11:37 AM
Looks pretty good.
bubastis237 - 10/29/2009, 3:55 PM
Masterpiece eh? Bit early for that assumption don't you think Sora;)

Ah no, Im sure it will be cool. I like all of Burton's movies except Planet Of The Apes..yes, I even enjoyed Wonka! So bring on Alice.
Rorschach01 - 10/29/2009, 7:40 PM
why was the end at the begining and then just cuts off, that was dumb.

I saw this at the theater a few days ago looks amazing
Osiris - 10/29/2009, 8:00 PM
"masterpiece"...really?!...ugh, anything starring depp cannot be by definition considered a masterpiece!
MisterUnderhill - 10/29/2009, 8:25 PM
come on guys, how many times have we heard a preview rant and rave about the movie its advertising? oh thats right, every preview in history.

@ ror

im a burton fan too, i've liked just about everything he's done, but i couldn't bring myself to witness the planet of the apes. did it still end with them discovering the broken down statue of liberty, like the original?? somehow i don't see it having the same effect as the original, lol
CorndogBurglar - 10/29/2009, 9:26 PM
This just a mesh of the other two trailers...there's nothing new. However, I am looking forward to seeing this movie, Burton always has crazy movies.
MechTech9 - 10/30/2009, 7:56 AM
Why does Depp always play the same character in Tim Burtons movies lol I mean I'm a fan of both but dam... can we get something... "original?"
thatiscrazy - 10/30/2009, 3:24 PM
@Corndog Planet of the apes looked cool but definitely failed to have the impact of the Original.

"Get your stinking paws off my movie you damn dirty director"

Burton has made some great movies but I thnk he's overated. Only 4 or 5 are movies I have bothered to watch more than once. That said those 4 or 5 flicks I have seen many times.
