Set to debut in Japan on April 1st of this year is the new X-Men anime cartoon
It will be airing in Japan before it comes to US screens on G4 later in the year, but until then, here's a sneak peak for you guys.

can't see the video in the u.k,i just hear it.

its ok i just watched it on youtube,looks alright but they should of used the animation studio that gave us ghost in the shell.

The animation looks pretty good, but they will prolly fight weird creatures and have different stories. Not a great fan of animes.

I watched the Iron Man anime yesterday and in all honesty it was better then I thought it would be they didn't do anything crazy there was even wolverine cameo, the wolverine one isn't to bad no weird creatures popping still don't like the design of wolverine but besides that its pretty faithful and so far one of wolverines classic villains have turned up. they've faithful so far, more faithful to source material then fox. and it looks like they've redesigned wolverine in this one looks more like the classic counterpart

I think it will be really good, I never watched Iron Man´s or even Wolverine´s animes because I didn´t like the designes and it isn´t worth to watch something in another language if you don´t dig the designs. But this looks so good, I wish they use one telepath[Emma please].

@TopCat: Wow that just brought up a lot of memories!! I've always loved that theme song, that theme and the 90s Spiderman theme were the best, EPIC!!!

I also loved the animation Marvel had in the 90s. It was very American, they tried to make it look more realistic. I wished they would've stuck to that style and just enhanced it. That would be cool. The cartoons from the 90s were just flat out the best. I wish they kept having good shows like that.

This anime take on X-Men looks cool though, even though I am annoyed that all our cartoons have to be in the anime style now just because thats the new fad. But it looks cool and I hope Cyclops is the leader of the X-MEN and not Wolverine. That's how its always been and thats how it should stay! Wolverine is more of a loner, not a guy that would control or command an entire group - that's Cyclop's job.

Wow I fully agree!!! This Anime is the BEST X-Men adaptation ever. And the animation is so great it makes Wolverine and the X-Men look not so good. Thank God it's now canceled.

CANNOT WAIT TO WATCH THIS! Iron man Anime was pretty good a bit slow but better than what I expected for sure. This looks like its gonna be awesome. Wolverine and Blade animes should be cool too

Gambit and Rogue had better be in it, or I'll be un-impress-ed....

Whilst I agree w/ you BARAKAPOOL(nice..name by the way*blink*), on their animation in general being awesome....I personally really enjoyed Wolverine and the Xmen....through and through out. ;)

Guess we'll have to wait and see what's up(kinda was hoping for more as it was labeled a trailer, but it's actually a teaser...so you really can't see much of anything! :( ahh well)...

Favorite X-Men cartoon was the 90's version. But this looked pretty good too. This one seem darker and more serious, not campy like the other post 90's X-men cartoon maybe except Wolverine and the X-men. But I hope they don't focus too much on the emotional side like a lot of animes does.
