Took them long enough. For a moment there I thought I had better chances waiting for a Green Lantern sequel!

This show has the potential to be as good as BatmanTAS and Justice League. Especially if they stay faithful to the comics. I would love to see an adaptation of Blackest Night.

The series has always been scheduled for a 2012 release indeed; instead, the November special 'premiere' was the one that surprised me, lol.

Dawnelldo: Yeah, I know. Just never thought that the Sapphires will appear this soon (which is awesome)!

This was pretty good. I'm excited for it. I also wouldn't mind even a LITTLE bit of some Blackest Night story/mention/etc.

Will buy season one on DVD mo$t likely. C. R. E. A. M.
The Incredibles ripped off like 27 ideas from various DC and Marvel characters.

I missed the pilot, but I'll try watching the show. I really hope it's better than that mediocre "Young Justice" show. It's a shame "Batman: The Brave and the Bold" is no longer on the air.

"The Incredibles" are basically the Fantastic Four. Not that it detracts from the movie or anything.

I don't care much for the whole CGI thing, but the pilot episode was really good. I'll definitely be watching this series.

The premier episodes were great, I just don't understand why they waited so long for it to officially air.

My problem with the animated series:
WHY DIDN'T THE RED LANTERN DIE WHEN HAL TOOK OFF HIS RING?

Seriously, that's one of the strongest parts to the Red Lantern Corps in the comics; so why take that out? Why is ok for the Green Lantern characters to die, but the villains can't? Seriously, they killed atleast 2 GLs (y'know for kids!) and even established that one had a family (and 2 days left until retirement, I guess) and not a single Red Lantern was harmed?

What the hell?

I feel a big sense of missed opportunity on WB's part here. This show should have been out before the movie to help build a stronger fan base outside of comic books. Great first episode however, and i expect nothing but good things from the series.

I'm saying the whole style of The Inredibles is being riffed on here. Just because one stylised figure of Green Lantern was released beforehand, doesn't mean The Incredibles copied DC. My point is that The Incredibles are always portrayed in CGI animation in this style, whereas Green Lantern has been portrayed in various styles over the years, with only one action figure in a similar style to this. So by using a style that is more synonymous with The Incredibles, it is just going to draw comparisons. And the similarities with The Fantastic Four were acknowledged by Pixar themselves. They were an homage to classic heroes rather than a ripoff.

The preimier was very good, and the art definitely grew on me by the end of the second part. I like the idea of a conflicted Red Lantern (obviously this being a kids show they won't die if they lose their rage and ring) and seeing the Star Saphires thee in the pic with Hal, Wog, and the Red lantern is pretty cool. Bring it on!
