Saw the trailer in 3D when I saw Silent Hill: Revelation. The part where the witch gets cut up into little bits was FREAKIN AWESOME in 3D.

@Otter2269 I was thinking the exact same thing. Looks just as forgettable as Van Helsing. Super slick cgi monsters that look super fake? Check. Cheesy comic relief? Check. Old characters made "modern" with gadgetry and black leather? Check. I'd hoped this would be good...but I don't have a good feeling about it after watching the trailer. I'll probably still see it. When it's on basic cable.

I'm sorry but Hawkeye's 616 costume is more ridiculous than this. Primarily because Hawkeye's costume is ludicrous and would be played straight. This film's premise is ludicrous too but played a little tongue-in-cheek.

Even if Hawkeye's costume was played for laughs, I don't think us Hawkeye fans would appreciate him being portrayed like some sort of dumbass clown like Aquaman in Superfriends. Keeping the costume was lose-lose

I'll see it if nothing else is out when it's released, looks good though and I do love me some Gemma Arterton. Gary Sanchez Productions helped make this film but you won't see that in the trailers (that's Adam McKay and Will Ferrell's company)

@SpideyQuaid: Excuse me, but how old are you? That's a very immature statement. How is he a douche if it was Joss Whedon, the man revered by so many as the Emperor of Geekdom, who decided the look to go with?

Jeremy's just an actor who plays roles. He takes the paycheck and delivers a performance.

Besides, Cap's costume was the riskiest thing they did and even then people had problems with it. Hawkeye's purple look would have faced similar criticisms.
