Noomi Rapace Offers A Vague Update On The Status Of Ridley Scott's PROMETHEUS Sequel
Noomi Rapace and Michael Fassbender were the only two Prometheus cast members to make it as far as the end credits, so it stands to reason that they must have some sort of idea as to the status of the sequel, right? Hit the jump for an update from the former.
Prometheus was mostly well-received with critics and audiences alike, while it certainly did well enough at the box office to justify a sequel. So, why have we still not heard anything concrete from 20th Century Fox? Well, talking to The Playlist recently, Noomi Rapace (Elizabeth Shaw) wasn't able to provide anything particularly definitive, but did have this to say about returning for a follow-up. "They're working on the script. I met Ridley in London a couple of weeks ago. I would love to work with him again and I know that he would like to do another one. It's just like we need to find the right story. I hope we will." Unsurprisingly, the actress wasn't able to provide any details as to who is working on the screenplay - Damon Lindelof has already confirmed that he won't be back - but still managed to give an idea of the themes we should expect to see explored in the sequel. "Some people who see the movie many times and discover new things. There are all these religious aspects and there are very interesting conversations. And for me, if we do a second one, there are a lot of things to explore in there and to continue."
