I've never liked any of the x movies with the exception of first class and that wasn't anywhere near the source material...
Luminus
Luminus - 6/25/2013, 3:30 AM
Watch Viper be played for cheese. She will serve no relevant purpose other than being a mutant that likes to stick her tongue out... repeatedly, you know, to make sure you see it.

Fox really made a mess out of the X-Men franchise..

I was hoping for this when they said that Silver Samurai and Viper will be on this.

Did you notice the movie doesn't really have a plot? An old friend of Logan wants to give him a gift, before he dies, then some ninja's (driving motorcycles on roofs for some idiotic reason) attack for no other reason than it might look cool. The more I look at those trailers, the more I think this is going to be as bad as the last one.

@DAGuess

Same here, First Class is the best X-Men film without a doubt. Vaughn shat on the source material but was still able to produce one of the best CBM's to date. To think that movie was rushed, he would have done a good job with Days of Future Past, dont know why he abandoned it to do that other film.

...the same old fashioned tight shirt that he wears in Origins...X3...& X2

Mangold doesn´t want to spend one dollar in costumes

Go home and change your clothes!

@lvcl: So lazy and soulless they were that they couldn't be bothered to get a brown coat for Gambit, like he's supposed to have.

I'm not appreciating the lack of Mariko footage/stills/images/posters :(
she's the lead love interest!

Plus, Tao Okamoto is gorgeous. I wanna see more of her.

@jimoakley666: If you love the first Wolverine, then ANYTHING will please you. I can make a reasonable assessment of a movie based on its trailers. This movie is scaring me as a fan. I smell Wolverine: Origins part II rearing its ugly head here. I really, REALLY, R E A L L L Y, hope I'm wrong.
DAGuess
DAGuess - 6/25/2013, 3:59 AM
I remember how much trash everyone talked when promotional stills of first class came out and it ended up being one of the best that year. Looking forward to the next one.

@lvcl: yeah, kill yourself for Viper being blond.
@Luminus: Isn't that a plot? :P
Luminus
Luminus - 6/25/2013, 4:03 AM
@TheOther: No. That's a plot, like popcorn is food.

@2jimoakley666: Don't try to backtrack, now. It's okay to love idiotic movies. Really. I won't laugh... much.

@DAGuess: I KNEW First Class was going to be good just based on the tone of the trailers. Fact.

NeoBaggins

This will most definitely HAVE TO BE a surprise hit. Vague plot other than the uninspired element of losing his healing factor. Optimus Prime Samurai. And more of confused Logan walking around trying to find himself.

With that said, I'm hoping it's good. Or at least better than Origins. Where he actually looks more jacked where here he looks kinda puny. Maybe that's the bad photoshop.
PeterDarker
PeterDarker - 6/25/2013, 4:14 AM
They only time this guy looked like Wolverine was in the Origins promo pictures. Weathered, grungy, and the hair was perfect. Cut to the movie and this one. Completely different. Please just reboot all the X movies already.
Luminus
Luminus - 6/25/2013, 4:15 AM
@TheOther: Neither did Wolverine: Origins. Random things (and mutants) just happened. Someone just grabbed a bunch of comicbooks and taped a firecracker to them, then filmed the results.
