Jeremy Renner Elaborates On CAPTAIN AMERICA 3 'Rumor' And AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON

"Oh, that’s a rumor all right!" said Jeremy Renner when The Daily Beast asked about Hawkeye appearing in Captain America 3. "I don’t know what’s going to happen. I know it’s going to start shooting in March. I haven’t had any official conversations about doing it or not." Sure you haven't Jeremy... When asked if he has wrapped filming for Avengers: Age of Ultron, the two-time Oscar-nominee replied, "We have to do some pick-up shots here and there, but for the most part. Hulk has a more prominent role, and I have a more prominent role. There are a lot more scenes of the entire Avengers gang together—both in and out of the cape, so to speak. It’s making me become a total fanboy. It’s pretty fun to be a part of." About his muli-picture deal with Marvel Studios, Jeremy Renner said, "I think most actors will sign on to do, like… Captain America 1-3 and then The Avengers 1-3, and then you’re done. For me, I signed on to The Avengers 1-3 and then Hawk-Eye, in case they want to do a Hawk-Eye spin-off." Hmm.

In a separate interview with Starplus, Renner offered a bit more about returning as Hawkeye in Avengers: Age of Ultron next year. " It was fun to finally kind of discover who Clint Barton is a little bit," he said. "We have some good secrets revealed. I think everything that was great about the first Avengers, is exponentially expressed in this one. From the action, to the making fun of itself, and there's a lot more time spent with the Avengers together, after being so separated in the first one. We've got some great new goodies, and some good baddies." The actor was then asked about Guardians of the Galaxy, which he describes "tremendous," and whether or not he would like to see those space misfits crossover with Earth's mightiest heroes. "That would be awesome," he replied. "I think that would be awesome. Of course that's the hopes with the puppeteers behind Marvel, but we'll see, man. We'll see..." What do you think?

Marvel Studios presents Avengers: Age of Ultron, the epic follow-up to the biggest Super Hero movie of all time. When Tony Stark tries to jumpstart a dormant peacekeeping program, things go awry and Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, The Incredible Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye, are put to the ultimate test as the fate of the planet hangs in the balance. As the villainous Ultron emerges, it is up to the Avengers to stop him from enacting his terrible plans, and soon uneasy alliances and unexpected action pave the way for an epic and unique global adventure. Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron stars Robert Downey Jr., who returns as Iron Man, along with Chris Evans as Captain America, Chris Hemsworth as Thor and Mark Ruffalo as The Hulk. Together with Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow and Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, and with the additional support of Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury and Cobie Smulders as Agent Maria Hill, the team must reassemble to defeat James Spader as Ultron, a terrifying technological villain hell-bent on human extinction. Along the way, they confront two mysterious and powerful newcomers, Wanda Maximoff, played by Elizabeth Olsen, and Pietro Maximoff, played by Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and meet an old friend in a new form when Paul Bettany becomes Vision. Written and directed by Joss Whedon and produced by Kevin Feige, Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron is based on the ever-popular Marvel comic book series “The Avengers,” first published in 1963. Get set for an action-packed thrill ride when The Avengers return in Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron on May 1, 2015.

Well if is in Captain America 3 that would be cool. Remember the ONLY reason he's getting a bigger role is because he bitched that he had a small role in the 1st Avengers.

I hate his Hawkeye personally... I hope he leaves the role so Marvel can re-cast his punk ass.
