marvelstudios-what did you think of the three superhero films released this year, iron man 3,man of steel and the wolverine
ezio619
ezio619 - 10/28/2013, 12:17 PM
I haven't heard anything negative about it yet,and iron man 3 even ahd some negative early reactions towards it,but so far I have heard or read reviews that range from alright to great and aslong as its good,im fine with it
ezio619
ezio619 - 10/28/2013, 12:26 PM
also, did anyone hear that they are showing an extended cap 2 preview will be shown in front of thor in some states, does anyone know which one cause I cant find it?

uuugh, what potential spoiler was in the first video?
EdgyOutsider
EdgyOutsider - 10/28/2013, 12:30 PM
@Auntievenom: I don't know about you but, if you look closely, you can see Loki on the ground and Thor holding him (there's a small bit of Thor yelling in one of the other tv spots in the same scene). I have a strong feeling that I'm wrong about Heimdall biting the dust and that it'll be, Loki that will die. Which, I kind of hope happens.
Auntievenom
Auntievenom - 10/28/2013, 12:36 PM
@EdgyOutsider: Thanks and good call. It would be awesome to think we see Loki die and have him return in his female form. Highly unlikely but a nerd can dream.

BlackFlash - 10/28/2013, 12:36 PM
Yeah thats Loki he's holding.

edgyoutsider- SPOILERS,EVERYONE,SPOILERS

I have heard they do something that may setup the next thor movies and I think is much more interesting.this is from people who have seen it
EdgyOutsider
EdgyOutsider - 10/28/2013, 12:38 PM
@Auntievenom: I hope he doesn't return at all. Kill him in Thor 2 so, Thor would be in a darker place in Age of Ultron and have the events of Age of Ultron put Thor in a really bad place for Thor 3. That's at least how I would go about it.
JoeMomma29
JoeMomma29 - 10/28/2013, 12:39 PM
Naw Marvel would not let anyone die in their movies that is all left up to DC/WB!

EdgyOutsider
EdgyOutsider - 10/28/2013, 12:44 PM
@JoeMomma: That's what everyone thinks so far, I think they actually would in time. Maybe this film? Definitely in, Age of Ultron.

@NovaCorps: I love Tom's Loki and he's definitely the best villain in the MCU so far but, I'm kind of getting sick of him and hope they kill him
JoeMomma29
JoeMomma29 - 10/28/2013, 12:46 PM
@ EdgyOutsider

The only people who are going to die are not essential characters to the story.

@ezio

Man of Steel was definitely my favourite, beautiful fight choreography and best CBM villain to date, although i thought the pacing of bad. I loved Iron Man 3, i thought it was a very smart film, good balance of drama, humour and action. Essentially another great instalment to the MCU. I despise Fox-Men and want the rights to revert. Wolverine was meh, nothing special I thought. I'm kinda bored of Wolverine. Fox milked him to death IMHO. However, it was the most orthodox CBM this year.

Loki must be faking his death to get away from Thanos.

ezio619
ezio619 - 10/28/2013, 12:50 PM
i really like loki but I am getting alittle sick of him ,its because he has been in three movies straight forthree years in a row now,but I think after this we wont see him for a while so they might help with decresing my loki fatigue
marvelstudios
marvelstudios - 10/28/2013, 12:52 PM
Yeah, I don't think we'll see Loki in another MCU movie till the inevitable Thor 3.

RUMORED SPOILERS,SPOILERS,SPOILERS,SPOILERS

Loki Does" Die" but it turns out to be an illusion or something,Odin sens a guard to check on his body, its implied that loki kills the guard, turns into him, does something to doin but it is not shown and in the end,he turns into odin and becomes king of asgard and grants thor permission to live on earth with jane

marvelstudios- that's cool, personally the summer got better for me as it went on terms of superheroes,The wolverine was my favorite, man of steel was really good, i had some minor complaints and iron man 3 was a solid film,i can understand some of peoples complaints b and that a lot of their problems were based on tastes and expectations and they did have some complaints with the film ,I did too,i do think they overdid the humor in some parts, some things could have been explained a little more but that's it
marvelstudios
marvelstudios - 10/28/2013, 12:59 PM
Overall, it was a good year for CBMs. The highlight for me was that Man of Steel was the beginning of the DCCU.

AvengersRock - 10/28/2013, 1:05 PM
I am sooo looking forward to this movie. From what I'm hearing, it will be great. I love the humor, and I love that the general audience loves the humor so they can make blockbuster after blockbuster.

Speaking of blockbusters....

Can't wait for the GOTG mid-credits scene....and seeing CA:TWS, ASM2 and X-Men:DOFP trailers before-hand. Going to be awesome!!!

Next summer may be the best CBM summer of all time, at least until Avengers:AOU and Batman vs. Superman comes out in 2015, along with FF (hopefully its good) and Ant-Man.
EdgyOutsider
EdgyOutsider - 10/28/2013, 1:05 PM
@MarvelStudios: Nothing special with Man of Steel. Don't get me started on it lol If I had to place the summer superhero flicks this year in order. It would be.

3: Man of Steel
2: Iron Man 3
1: The Wolverine

I find it hard to see why people dislike, The Wolverine or the X-Men movies in general outside of Last Stand and Origins.

@ezio: Not the way I was hoping it would go but, sounds pretty great if you ask me.
ezio619
ezio619 - 10/28/2013, 1:05 PM
marvelstudios- yeah,im mainly a superhero guy, ididnt check out kick ass 2 cause im not a fan of that series, one thing I will say,i want my heroes to be inspirational and I felt that this year,Tony stark showed me they we can overcome our own demons, conquer our fears and come out much stronger,Clark showed me that we can make a difference in this world and Logan showed me that very man can get purpose in life, rise above our tragedy and find a purpose
ezio619
ezio619 - 10/28/2013, 1:10 PM
Avengersrock-finally,thats the spirit, people should take the focus and emphasis on humor in the reviews as a strength,it eans that the humor works and I have heard that a lot of people thought, especially the GA that iron man 3 and and now thor are much funnier then almost all of the comedies this year besides this is the end and the worlds end
ezio619
ezio619 - 10/28/2013, 1:12 PM
EDGYOUTSIDERS-WHAT DID YOU LIKE ABOUT THESE FILMS? and since you have it as your icon, what did ya think of the captain America:winter soldier trailer
ezio619
ezio619 - 10/28/2013, 1:15 PM
I also like that marvel is doing subtitles instead of numbers in front of their titles, instead of Thor 2,Its Thor the dark world,it makes it feel like a storyarc of a comic book,i can understand why they called iron man 3 because it made the series come full circle, maybe not the way people expected or wanted ,but it did.
ezio619
ezio619 - 10/28/2013, 1:17 PM
EGDYOUTSIDER- ARE U TALKING ABOUT THE SPOILER?
SKetCH
SKetCH - 10/28/2013, 1:19 PM
Idk about you guys, but I just slowed dowm the first video's scene featuring Thor kneeling down beside a body, aaaand it looks like Sif on the ground...

With the reports of the love-triangle having been cut from the film, and it being obvious in the final cut (presumably), maybe Thor shows some unwarranted emotion towards her death, confusing the general audience, since they all see Thor emotionally attached to Jane.
ezio619
ezio619 - 10/28/2013, 1:19 PM
MCA- not the best, but almost every superherofilm has cheesy dialogue
