it certainly looks like it could be the best of the three transformer movies so far.

but the bar wasn't really raised that high to beat though was it.

The action looks good, but the action was good in the second one too. I'm not against this movie, but I won't say it looks good when all it's really showing is more of the same so far.

The trailer for the second installment tricked me into believing it was going to be epic. But this genuinely looks like it's back to the tone of the first one. It seems as I Bay has listened to the fans in terms of note having the camera right in the action...which means Optimus' trail of distraction looks even more epic!

How awesome is that scene of Optimus cleaning house down that street? I'm keeping my expectations low for this one, that way when I watch, I can be pleasantly surprised....hopefully.

I know its a long shot but I'm really getting my hopes up for this one. The more I see, the more excited I get. It looks almost post-apocalyptic. How badass would a post-apocalyptic transformers movie be?

The movie seems all right. Didn't have much of an opinion with the earlier two, but I couldn't really bash it since - to me - it's Transformers movie-verse and has it's own appeal with a different fanbase. Poop or not; Hasbro is racking up millions just from merchandising no matter what the movie turns out to be - they can recover losses through the toys alone.

the first two movies had fantastic trailers,especially the second.

but both movies where a major letdown because of the comedy moments & meggan fox.

if they can lose most of the stupid comedy & try & be taken more seriously we could be onto a winner.

would they just let it end and wait...what like 5+ years b4 they do another one?

I hate that eveyone thinks it have to be a three part movie. I think thats because of the star wars franchise.

wish we had some screen shots of all of them...

I've got higher hopes for this movie than the other two but I wish they'd stop pushing the whole "darker" thing; we get it, this movie has a darker tone! If this movie does turn out crap, atleast we'll get some fun, mindless action out of it (it is a michael bay movie after all).

I honestly dont know why so many people gripe about the 1st two. Imo, minus the cheesey comedy, they were REALLY FUN ACTION MOVIES! I just think that sum people take these movies WAY too seriously!

I mean come on now. WHo has a better voice than Peter Cullen. The man is an absolute legend in the voice over business. He by far is what I loved most about these Bay directed Transformers movies.

@GUNSMITH that vid brings back memories... If there was ONE thing Bay was right about is that you can't imagine anyone else be the voice of Optimus Prime! Peter Cullen will ALWAYS be Optimus in the minds and hearts of the fans everywhere, young or old.

Still can't get pass Rosie and that awful lip surgery. If they wanted to replace Megan Fox so bad, why not replace her with Jessica Lowndes as Mikaela, rather than just recreate a character from the cartoon.

The robots may be in disguise but the movies haven't disguised the fact that they intend to be big, dumb, loud and entertaining popcorn action summer flicks. I see no reason for that to change with the third movie and ruin a winning box office formula and Blu Ray box set.

The toys were stupid but fun, the Cartoon was stupid but fun and the comics were silly looking but well written and fun. These movies carry on the same tradition of looking good, being silly and entertaining to all those who want to have a bit of fun. G1 Fanboys aside, that accounts for the majority of the movie going audiences which is why they make so much money!

I don't understand the need for a love interest in the first place... Transformers became far too commercialized instead of being about the actual robots. One thing I hated was how humans were taking them down and in the first movie doing it with relative ease.

I actually look foward to watch this movie, I want to see the no-Megan Fox actress in action.She looks awesome and hot as a vulcan in eruption.
