Fan-Cast of the upcoming Avengers movie.
Okay so this is the first fan-cast I've done in a while, my last I think was Daredevil and it kinda sucked. Hopefully this one will go down better, and i think a few of you will already know who I've picked for Cap.
Here we go
Captain America/Steve Rogers- Aaron Eckhart
In my opinion Eckhart is near perfect for Cap, he has blonde hair, blue eyes, the right physique, has that chiseled chin, is American, is an awesome actor, has shown he can pull of leadership and honesty with Harvey Dent pre-Twoface in The Dark Knight, can hold his own against big actors Robert Downey Jr and Ed Norton and the likes. Would be the same age as the majority of the team in Avengers. THE MAN IS CAP.

I shouldn't have to say much here, he's already been cast and he's perfect.
Moving on.
WarMachine/James "Rhodey" Rhodes- Don Cheadle
Has already been cast and we dont want to screw up this character's continuity a second time.
Moving swiftly on.
Thor/Donald Blake-Chris Hemsworth
Has already been cast and he seems he can pull it off, also I would like to see Hemsworth play Blake if the doctor decides to make an appearence, having two different actors seems ridiculous to me.
The Hulk/BruceBanner-Edward Norton
Already cast (kind of) I really hope he comes back, he was awesome.
And yeah I'm getting all of the "already cast" guys out of the way so we can get to the real stuff. :)
Black Widow/Natasha Romanoff-Scarlett Johansson
Already cast, and she looks good in leather. he-he ;)
Nick Fury- Samuel Jackson
Not much to say.
Okay now heres the good stuff.
Hawkeye/Clint Barton-Jensen Ackles
Still cant see the Cap resemblence but I can certainly see how he looks like Hawkeye, and I do like Ackles and I think Hawkeye would make a better fit for Ackles. [On a side note, when searching for a pic of Hawkeye after I clicked on the image it sent me to the Disney site where I had the misfortune of hearing the start of Miley Cyrus' new song, Disney/Marvel Merger finally coming into play?]
Black Panther/T'challa- Chiwetel Ejiofor
A decent actor who I think would do a good job as the king of Wakanda.
Ant-Man/Giant-Man/Goliath/Yellow Jacket- Patrick Wilson
I think he'd make an awesome Henry Pym and even if he doesn't portray all other alter egos of Pym I'd still like them to get mentioned at some point.
Wasp/Janet Van Dyne or Pym-Eva Longoria
Heavily rumoured to play the part and I wouldn't mind it at all.
Vision-CGI with the voice of Pierce Brosnan
Vision should be cgi but his voice needs to be intelligent and powerful, James Bond himself guys Pierce Brosnan.
Hercules-Jeffery Dean Morgan
I saw someone else cast Morgan as Hercules, I think it's perfect.
Ant-Man II/Scott Lang-Ewan McGregor
Scott Lang's story requires a lot of acting ability, he turned to criminal activities to keep his family going, he was noticed by Stark while in prison for his amazing skills in electronics and then he had to steal the Ant-Man suit to help his seriously ill daughter, Ewan McGregor is a fine actor and has yet to play a comic book superhero yet I beileve.
Now the third Ant-Man who was a complete @-hole.
Ant-Man III/Eric O'Grady-Jason Lee
Jason Lee is pretty good at playing an asshole but somehow you can't help but like him, he's a good fit for O'Grady's personality.
Black Knight/Dane Whitman-Chris Evans
Chris Evans is best known as The Human Torch from the Fantastic Four movies, and he was near perfect for the charcter, however since the FF movies are done with I'd like to see Evans in another comic book role, Black Knight would be pretty good I think, since he started off as a mediocre villain and ended up as a member of the Avengers and a respected superhero. Evans has that "snide" to him that I think would make a good aspect to Whitman's character, yet still remaining a hero.
Moondragon/Heather Douglas-
Strange character, Moondragon is an open bisexual who has had relationships with A-List heroes such as Daredevil and even Thor!! She's a powerful telepath who joined the Avengers in the 70's, I picked Thandie Newton because she's quite a good actress and she looks sort of like her, try and imagine her with a bald head lol.
Wonder Man/Simon Williams-Clive Owen
Wonder Man is a cocky, douchebag of a superhero but for some reason I like him, and I think heroes like that are a bit more realisitc, Clive Owen is a good actor who looks like Wonder Man so why not?
Now for the villains. I'll get those who are already cast and might make an appearence out of the way.
Loki- Tom Hiddleston
Already cast and looks pretty much perfect for Loki, from what little I've seen of him I can definitley say that he is a damn good actor and I'm excited to see him portray one of my favourite villains on screen.
Abomination/Emil Blonsky-Tim Roth
Already cast and the Abomination is not dead and we've even been told from the man himself Kevin Fiege that even if the Hulk doesn't make it to the Avengers, Hulk characters will? Will Abomination bust out of S.H.I.E.L.D?
Red skull/Johann Shmidt - Mads Mikkelsen
Baron Zemo/Dr. Heinrich Zemo-Christoph Waltz
The guy stole the show in "Inglorius Basterds" as the Nazi general dubbed "The Jew Hunter" I think he'd make an excellent Zemo.
The Leader/Samuel Sterns -Tim Blake Nelson
Already cast, and he seems very enthusiastic about reprising his role as Samuel Sterns and who knows if we will se his villanious side in The Avengers first? Al hail the Leader!!!!
Thats it for now, expect this to be updated though, I've got a few more ideas for villains that I'll add later. Thanks for reading and please comment.
P.S. If anyone can tell me how to make the pictures go together and get the frame and stuff because I have no clue and it takes up a lot of the page when its just like that ^^ luckily I was able to find pics from websites and right here on CBM, you guys ;) So if I've used your pic in this or any other fan cast dont think I'm stealing it, I'm just trying my best to keep my page looing tidy, however I'm failing miserably :(
