About CROSSOVER BATTLES: These CB's are a series of weekly articles in which I take two different comic book characters from two different companies and have them fight while you vote on the winner. I remain neutral on all polls unless a certain amount of days pass and one character has no votes. The results will be posted in the following CB. A CB is posted every weekend. If you click on a CB and the poll is gone, that means voting is over. If it's there than your vote should get counted no matter how long it seems it's been up.

LAST WEEKS BATTLE:

Winner: General Zod

Victor Van Damme, AKA Dr. Doom (Marvel Comics)
(47.06%)
Dru-Zod, AKA General Zod (DC Universe)
(52.94%)
It was a very close vote. It could have gone either way, but, I guess it's time to KNEEL BEFORE ZOD!

THIS WEEKS EVENTS!

Marvel Knights Contestant:

The Kingpin Of Crime:

Real name: Wilson Fisk

Enemy of: Daredevil (arch-nemesis), Spiderman, and The Punisher

Bio:
Wilson Fisk grew up in Hells Kitchen. An obese child, he was often bullied at school and beaten by his petty criminal father. He was a nobody. Never allowed to participate in sports or other activities, he developed the skills of a master manipulator by observing the activities and behavior of others. The world was his chess board. At an early age he started to participate in petty crimes to please his father. One night, when the police showed up to one of the crimes, he was unable to escape due to his weight and was ditched by his heartless father. Fisk was sentenced to prison, where he became hardened by the enemies he made there (the most notable being a gangster named Big Lucky). There he improved his physique. After release, Fisk settled the score with Big Lucky and his low level father. He would soon become a very wealthy business man and the undisputed Kingpin of Hells Kitchen, making enemies with Silvermane, Daredevil, The Punisher, Spiderman, Ezekiel and other prestigious figures. Fisk is a master schemer and manipulator in the underworld. While he may look obese, Fisk is really made of approximately 350 pounds of muscle (only 2% of his weight is body fat). This makes Fisk a match even for Daredevil and Spiderman in combat. He has even been shot by a machine gun several times by The Punisher and survived (all it seemed to do was piss him off). Some incarnations of the character are responsible for the death of Daredevil's father but not the 616. When in it's prime, Fisk's criminal empire is more powerful than every single Maggia (Marvel version of the Mafia) crime family combined. Compared to Whale, Fisk fighting skills are arguably superior.

DC Universe Contestant:

The Great White Whale:

Real name: Tobias Whale

Enemy of: Black Lightning (arch-nemesis)

Bio:
Leader of the Metropolis wing of the criminal organization known as the 100, Whale was created as the DC equivalent of Wilson Fisk. The controller of most of the crime that goes on in the Suicide Slums part of the city, his nemesis Black Lightening became the vigilante he is after Whale murdered one of the students of his alter ego who is a school teacher. Suicide Slums is protected by BL. Almost all of BL's entire rogues gallery work or have worked for Tobias Whale or the 100 at one point. Like Fisk, Whale is a master schemer and manipulator. Even more like Fisk, Whale's obese facade masks his massive strength. While Whale may only be a fair fighter, Whale is incredibly durable. Those who watch Justice League Unlimited may recall a scene where the shows version of Whale withstood the full force of Black Canary's canary cry without a scratch. Those who read Black Lightning comics may recall a LOT of other demonstrations of his durability. Considering that his nemesis has electric powers, Whale would need extreme durability to pound the crap out of BL the way he does.

Had Dr. Doom won last weeks CB, this would be his title card (I make these in advance):

The Dr. Doom quote is hard to see but it says "Pain? You don't know the meaning of the word."
