Last year's
Injustice: Gods Among Us took fans by storm, earning an Ultimate Edition and tablet port before the year was out. The game featured a huge roster of DC's most popular (and not so popular) characters, ranging from Superman and Batman to Killer Frost. At last week's WonderCon DC confirmed that after this fall's
Batman: Arkham Knight is released, that they would be returning to the Injustice universe some time after 2014. No game studio is locked in to produce the game at the minute but developers NetherRealm are the likely candidates to return; no release date has been set but don't expect a release late this year, DC stated that the game would
"not be a 2014 title".
What do you think? Will you be buying the second installment in DC's multiverse series? Sign off your thoughts on the game below?
What if our greatest heroes became our greatest threat? From the indomitable DC Comics and the makers of the definitive fighting game franchise Mortal Kombat comes Injustice: Gods Among Us, a bold fighting game featuring a large cast of favorite DC Comics icons. Set in a world where the lines between good and evil are blurred, players will experience heroes and villains engaging in epic battles on a massive scale. A deep, original story compliments the fighting action that pits many of the great heroes and villains from the DC universe against each other -- Batman, Harley Quinn, Solomon Grundy, Superman, The Flash, Wonder Woman and many others lose their allegiances and fight for Injustice!
