SHORT AND SWEET. ONCE AGAIN WE HAVE NOTHING AGAINST WHITE PEOPLE BUT WE HAVE A LACK OF BLACK PEOPLE IN COMIC BOOK MOVIES; WE WOULD LIKE TO SEE MORE. THAT IS ALL.

Below is the cast,-just visualize the original actors from the Singer/Ratner series replaced by our cast. Or set in a reboot, where all the original X-Men characters from the comics, Wolverine, consisting of Cyclops, Marvel Girl, Storm, Beast, Angel, Iceman...

Director of the X-Men film(s): The Hughes Brothers

Picture "The Book of Eli" mixed with "Menace II Society"... jk @ the M2S part, but lets just face it: the brothers are talented in filmmaking. They've proved that they can make a dramatic/action- adventure film, substantial enough to have at least a 6 rating on IMDb. A film like this would be perfect-fitting right along with "The Book of Eli". Besides, we probably would have gotten to see Wolverine actually skilled in battle, MORE X-Men characters appearing on screen & a crucial engagement between Juggernaut and Colossus (X-Men 3).

Miscast on the Wolverine part; Michael Jai White should have been Wolverine instead of Gambit.

Why is Charlize on here? She may be from Africa, but she's not black.

The scream of "Black Power" is not a racist motive

It derived from the many years of black oppression to success

Not to mention the black population being outnumber by whites (no racism intended)

@Taboo13
yes to: Brown Power

Also, Idris Elba as Heimdall raised a lot of eyebrows, so we figured to gain status we ought to raise even more (look @ froggy) ... if that makes sense

@froggy
Good luck
Do "Soul Food" while your at it and we'll do "The Honeymooners"... wait... that's already been done

I really don't see this as funny or necessary.Coming from a black man that thinks we need to forget the past.

I like your originality, but IMO i think that some of your choices are a misfire. I would move Michael Jai White as Colossus, Brian White as Gambit, Peter Mensah as Professor X, and you definitely should have chosen Wesley Snipes as Wolverine..That's just my opinion

Are you spawning a new way of fancasting?

I never seen on comicbookmovie.com someone who made a convincing fancast transforming an all-white team into an all-black team.

BLACK POWER!
yankeemanf
yankeemanf - 6/4/2011, 9:59 AM
ya see i have no prob with black ppl at all but if a white guy on here made an all white fan cast and make it like a selling point in the article it would be deemed racist
Oxion
Oxion - 6/4/2011, 1:26 PM
@ yankeemanf- I fully agree wit u but lets be real, there are no all black casts. Thats sort of the problem. Had one black guy in X:Men First Class and they kill him. Could of did anybody but kill him. And then whenever a black hero is included in animated TV shows like Justice League or Young Justice or Avengers then they are referred to as "Tokens". Their not tokens, their team members but sumone always calls them that and guess what color they r? These are facts that not just comic book movies but Hollywood in general make true. The black man is mostly always expendable.

Im glad you like it! My brother and I have more fan cast to come!

dmb1511
@everybody
The reason my brother and I are doing this is b/c we have been experiencing this all our lives. The only dominate black person in X-Men is Storm- we have a right to be angry.Thanks for commenting... In the words of uncle clay "If you aint sayin' notin, dont leave notin".
yankeemanf
yankeemanf - 6/4/2011, 9:20 PM
@NextHero08 the reason they killed darwin was that darwin is the least known and least liked character out of the ones that were in the movie most ppl didnt want him in the movie soo killing him was the smartest choice to kill not cuz he was black and storm was alive in all 3 x-men movies and has a cameo in first class and blade has 3 movies of his own and catwoman was made black the movie was terrible tho kingpin was made black in daredevil and nick fury was made black in the comic and then made black in the movie...im sry u cant say that racism rele is incorporated in movies that much anymore
yankeemanf
yankeemanf - 6/4/2011, 9:35 PM
@jacobcitybros u dont have a right to be angry cuz storm is the only dominate black person in x-men in the movies cuz she is the only dominate one in the comics rele....darwin isnt known by most ppl soo he died cuz he didnt have much popularity unlike the other characters did have a lot of popularity and srsly no matter what happens races will feel mad over somethin...u want black superheros and black superhero movies then create them dont jus complain to life dont work that way...there arent many black writers or artists out there which is why most characters r white cuz u draw whatcha kno
darkclarkent
darkclarkent - 6/5/2011, 9:28 AM
@yankeemanf you said there arent many black artists well check out the original who brought us some well known characters

Billy Graham (July 1, 1935[1]—1999) was an African-American comic-book artist best known for his work on the Marvel Comics series Luke Cage, Hero for Hire, and Jungle Action feature, "Black Panther", considered the first modern black superhero.

Publisher James Warren recalled in 1999 that he promoted Graham to art director shortly after recruiting him as an artist:

I sensed Billy had the ability to handle it; certain artists and writers are great but they can't shift out of their specialty and do something else. Billy could. So I said, 'Billy, you are now art director! Whether you like it or not.' Now you have to understand that all Billy wanted to do his whole life was just be Jack Kirby. I said, ' You'll be the Black Jack Kirby, but not today! Today you are art director of Warren Publishing.' But he said, 'I can't art direct!' And I said, 'I'll show you how. There's your office; you now have a full-time job. A paycheck every Friday. Do you accept?' And he said, 'Yer goddamn right!' And I taught him how to art direct during our slow period, and it only took a couple of issues — and he did pretty well (though I gave him a nervous breakdown).

In a 2005 newspaper interview, Warren mentions tweaking a Rolling Stone reporter who asked about his decision to hire an African-American art director, a rarity in comics at the time: "'What!?' mock-screamed Warren. 'Is Billy black? I didn't know that. Get him in here! Billy, are you black? You're fired!

bro get over yourself, we get that your a douche, your not changing anyone's mind. Nice pic baby fat arent you supposed to lose that after your balls drop.

yankeemanf - 6/5/2011, 11:14 AM
@darkclarkkent i didnt sya there werent any black artists i said there arent many...i am sayin that if u want more black heroes go out and make em dont jus sit and complain that there arent any...complaining bout something doesnt change anythin its life thats all i was saying and if anything ur a douche for saying that like srsly lol

@yankeemanf
Its not complaining that we're doing

Just trying to see why Blacks arent in CBM as much as we should

Why black CBM are still in the preproduction process, yet crappy films like The Spirit, Punisher Warzone, Hulk, Jonah Hex, Origins, IM2 etc can still be made

But I do appreciate your comments and support
please spread the word
