'Spider-Man: Turn off the Dark' might NOT be saved just yet!

One of the potential investors will not guarantee his involvment in saving the troubled Broadway show...
As reported just last week, it seemed that 'Spider-Man' musical was to be saved thanks to two new investors joining the fray. However, according to James D. Stern, one of the two alleged investors, nothing is a certainty yet.

"Yeah, I think that it would be good if people would actually talk to me before they write that sort of thing," Stern told MTV News. "It's not really—I mean, I don't know. Whether I'm involved in it or not, I don't have any idea yet."

When asked if he thought that Broadway and superheroes were compatible with one another Stern went on to say, "I absolutely do. Although, there are superheroes who have flown on the Great White Way but have not kept aloft, so you have to be careful, too."

As many times as this thing keeps comming back you'd think that it was a supervillan. I guess that you just can't a good bad idea down.

I bet you there's like parts of this show where Spiderman is wearing the Spiderman suit but there's no torso - he's basically shirtless but still wearing the mask and singing and rain is pouring all over his chest and sh!t.

Then him and the Goblin can have a sword fight on a wobbly bridge - the stage cuts to black and then lights up again and all of a sudden you see a goblin mannequin falling slowly from the bridge and smashing to the floor while Spiderman screams, "Whyyyyyyyyyyy! - Why must I............TURN OFF THE DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARK!"

The End.

@superdog: Oh, we have an appreciation for art; just not for this shameless display of 'art' that's serves the sole purpose of capitalizing on the new found comic book movie trend. It's a ruse to sell more t-shirts and music cds. It isn't being made as an tribute to the source material, it's merely being made to profit off of an already adapted movie.

For example. .

Art:

Not art:
