Here's what the writer of the Green Lantern and The Flash comic series had to say in a recent interview with Newsarama:

"Like with Green Lantern, it's thrilling to be involved in other stuff having to do with that characters across other media."

"There's some great stuff in development right now that's based on one of the best comics Vertigo has published that I can't wait for people to hear about. It’s one of my favorite comic series ever printed."

The question is of course, which series!? Hellblazer, The Sandman, 100 Bullets, Y: The Last Man and Fables are a few of the most popular, but what would you like to see making it's way to the big or small screen? Be sure to share your thoughts in the usual place!

Great stuff.. I just hope he means it and we are not getting "Vamps" or some shit. If he really is talking about one of the best, it has to be Sandman, Preacher or Y.

It is Sandman. But i'm not happy with that. Hellblazer could become a really good show if done the right way,in a good channel...

Sandman, even if made with all the sex and drugs and killin',could go very wrong. I would hate to see Sandman wich less meaning and quality, just as much I hated seeing Watchmen this way.

One of Geoff Johns' favorite writers and friends is Grant Morrison I would not be surprised if it was The Invisibles.

Does anybody else ever get tired of all of this cryptic stuff that is said when it comes to projects in development? I used to find it intriguing, but lately I've been annoyed about it. It's kind of like, "If you have something to say, then just say it, otherwise hold off until you do."

MESSENGER @

FISTERRRRRRR!

: P

Cool find @ JOSH... [frick] FABLES tho...

We need more Movies/series of: SANDMAN, DEATH, SWAMP THING, INVISIBLES, DEADMAN, HELLBLAZER, SPECTRE etc!!!

Okay, Spectre's more DC but its all the same Universe lol!

But it better be better than THE LOSERS wtf was that WB?

Seriously, I praise DC/Vertigo movies but that was a bad adaption!

@ LEEE lol

Y would be great and Preacher was good but I wasn't a big fan of it, unlike The Sandman which was brilliant. Problem with films like these, same light as Watchmen it is hard for fans to see it on film no matter how close and precise the adaptation is.

I'm yet to read any Vertigo comics (I'm planning to and already have a list of books I plannon picking up after Christmas!) but even I know that this is some pretty [frick]ing awesome news! :)

ED: Lol, yeah - it's especially annoying when they build it up and it ends up being far less interesting than they hinted at!

LEE: Thanks man. A repeat of The Losers is something we definitely don't need! Even the great cast couldn't save it. Add in Jobah Hex (not Bertigo I know) and it's fair to say that DC is still very hit-and-miss with every one of their CBM's that Chris Nolan hasn't done! :P

The Sandman, Preacher, Fables or 100 Bullets would all be bad ass. But I'm such a Hellblazer fan I would love to see it rebooted. That Keanu Reeves piece of shit Constantine was not justice to the character. The story followed close to some of the comic book continuity. But to see someone do John Constantine justice would be [frick]ing awsome in my book.

RolandOfGilead- Damn! 100 bullets should've been mine! LOL But yeah, GREAT choice! I'm sure it's definitely being considered ;)

@Shaman- yea its good stuff. But i almost forgot Swamp Thing. How could I forget the comic that gave Constantine his beginnings? Lol. Another good Vertigo book I recently got into is Transmetropolitan. I love how Spider is like a futuristic Hunter S. Thompson. It's some of the best shit I've read in years.

RolandOfGilead- Tell you the goddarn honest truth, i've never read ONE vertigo book LOL But i used to work in a comic book shop and heard plenty of great stuff from vertigo fans, which is why i was saying i should've known about 100 Bullets LOL And YES! Transmetropolitan too, everybody that read it was praising it as well :))

But the most popular Vertigo titles at that shop was definitely 100 Bullets and Preacher. Swamp Thing was already done with but plenty of people just can't shut up about how great it was LOL ;)

Am I the only one who doesn't want WB to f' up any Vertigo? There is no way they will be able to pull off a Sandman, Preacher, or Y the Last Man. Why even try,
