Joseph Gordon-Levitt Calls Director Christopher Nolan "A Master Storyteller"! Joseph Gordon-Levitt Calls Director Christopher Nolan "A Master Storyteller"!

So far, all we know about Joseph Gordon-Levitt's character in The Dark Knight Rises is that he's a police officer, with any additional details we know of having come from what we've spotted in the various set photos and videos. (all of which have only served to make him all the more mysterious) So, when USA Today caught up with him in Toronto recently, what could he reveal about his role in the movie? ""Nothing," he said.

Oh. Thankfully, he did go on to describe Christopher Nolan's style of directing and storytelling, praising him and promising fans that all they need to do is have faith in him to deliver an amazing movie. "I can tell you that one of the things I admire most about Mr. Nolan is that he understands that the story begins before the movie does. He's already telling the story that he's got cooked up. He's a master storyteller. Every little bit of information he lets out, he does it at the proper time."

"Far be it for me to preempt the rhythm of his. I love that people are excited about it. I guarantee, as an audience member, one will have the best experience if one just trusts him,"
he added.

Well i'm sure glad i got the news on the confirmation that Joseph Gordon Levitt ALSO thinks Nolan's a master storyteller because without confirmation from every damn cast member, it only leaves room for speculation. This isn't a personal knock on you, Josh. I just think that having everyone Nolan's ever worked with publically state the same statement sounds like they're reading a script. Of course everybody means it because the man has unquestionable talents but come on... If you can't bring anything new to the table, then why are you even commenting? Seriously, interviewers should ALL be asking their questions by starting with "Aside from being a master storyteller...".

Meh. Nolan is a great directer and all, but what he directed... that's not Batman. Sure, it has Batman characters in it, but he changed too much and it ruins the films for me.

Ya true. well nolanites will troll anyone with criticism about nolan, but your right. that isn't batman, and it would be a much better story if batman wasn't in his way. the story would be amazing about a cop or P.I. in a real city, but batman should not be done in nolan's "realistic" way. Nolan is..... okay... 50/50 really.
