FANTASTIC FOUR's Michael B. Jordan Set For Another Comic Book Movie

Evidently undeterred by the complete disaster that was Fantastic Four, Human Torch actor Michael B. Jordan's next movie will also be based on a comic book - but one with a very different tone to Josh Trank's flick! Get the details after the jump...

It's good to know Michael B. Jordan's experiences working on the recent Fantastic Four reboot haven't put him off comic book movies for life, as The Wrap reports that the Chronicle actor's next project is looking likely to be an adaptation of Dark Horse's horror comedy graphic novel from Etan Cohen, Mike Gagerman and Andrew Waller, Blood Brothers

Apparently Jordan is in negotiations with MGM to play one of the leads in the movie. which is described as a "buddy picture involving two party-loving vampires/best friends who team up to take on a villain obsessed with the apocalypse and destroying humanity."

Let's hope that guy puts up more of a fight that Doctor Doom did! Amirite? Anyway, you can next see Jordan in another MGM flick, Creed. There is currently no scheduled release date for Blood Brothers.

I'll keep an open mind, but this vampire buddy cop kind of movie doesn't sound like it's going to resonate with a mainstream audience.

All 4 of them honestly really need to focus on getting in better stuff after such a flop. Otherwise they'll end up has-beens

Michael B. Jordan's selection of films to work for is very clever. One could separate his filmography (with regards to character) into the following two categories: the "buddy," or the "oscar caliber performance."

Chris Evans went from F4 to the Losers, before he did Captain America. So maybe 3rd times a charm for MBJ.

Miles Teller confirmed?

Good to see MBJ get up after a disaster. He won't be like Andrew Garfield.

He's a good actor but he was NOT the Human Torch! Creed looks promising though.

This one will be going for an 'entertaining' tone.

This could go either way. It's intriguing, but sounds very difficult to pull off. It would either need HUGE names (with matching acting ability) in the lead roles, or a very stylistically unique director.

Imagine this being done by Tarrentino? That would probably be amazing.

@LEVITIKUZ

Like what, no longer doing a superhero franchise but is still in business with upcoming movies & a hot girl by his side?

Man, someone's really got a thirst for anything TASM related...

I'm glad he's getting back into CBM's. the disaster that is F4 was not his fault.
