Io9 has just posted some concept art that was created by the Aaron Sims Company. They include different versions of Snake Eyes and Cobra Commander's costumes. I'm sure all of the five fans of 2009's G.I. Joe: The Rises Of Cobra will be quiet upset that none of the images below feature lips for Snake Eyes' mask, nor a see-through plastic mask for Cobra Commander. Sorry you five guys, maybe next time.

In this sequel, the G.I. Joes are not only fighting their mortal enemy, Cobra, they are forced to contend with threats from within the government that jeopardize their very existence. The film stars D.J. Cotrona, Byung-hun Lee, Adrianne Palicki, Ray Park, Jonathan Pryce, RZA, Ray Stevenson, Channing Tatum with Bruce Willis and Dwayne Johnson. Directed by Jon M. Chu, and produced by Lorenzo di Bonaventura and Brian Goldner, written by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick based on Hasbro’s G.I. Joe® characters. March 29th, 2013!

Movie was boring. It wasn't better or worse than the first. Zartan, Roadblock, and Joe were the only people with life.

That CC pic is pretty cool.

First and third concept of Snake-Eyes looks pretty badass also.

The suits in the movie were decent enough thou. Maybe that CC concept i would have liked to see in the big screen beside the helmet suit.

I LIKE HOW THEY INTERGRATED THE BREATHER TANK HELMET TO HIS WARDROBE..AN SNAKE EYES GEAR WAY BETTER, THEY COULD GIVE HIM A NEOPRENE SUIT FOR MORE FLEXIBILITY NEXT TIME..THE ARMOR FOR BATTLES IS COOL THOUGH..

Not sure who that character is in the first image (wearing red and black and a hood over his face) but he reminds me of Baron Zemo. Might be a nice design for a movie version of the character.

They should introduce Serpentor in the 3rd G.I. Joe movie.

@superbigguy32 I thought Cobra Commander was the dude with the full head helmet with the reflective face panel (see the first pic in GUNSMITH's second comment). Is the image I was referring to just some really different concept art or is it from the first movie (I heard they made all the characters in that film look nothing like they're supposed to).

I was never in to GI Joe, never even heard of it until they started referencing it on Family Guy. I guess it was never very big outside of the USA.

You know...I actually had no problem with the mouth on the Snake Eyes suit in the first flick because the second Snake Eyes from 1985 (the one that came with Timber) had the mouth there as well and that by far was always the most popular

@ ACira Cobra Commander has 2 looks, one with the hood, the other with the reflective mask. Google it. I always liked the hood.

If the colours were changed up a bit the 1st concept art could serve as a great look for Baron Zemo(s)

I'm glad they went with the Cobra Commander design in the final version, because I don't think the hood look would ever look better than that awesome helmet. Plus, they gave quite a reasonable background behind his new look, so I'm perfectly fine with that. The rest of the concept art are cool, but none look better than the final versions, either, except for that white costume for Jinx. Would've looked cool to see that on big screen, and I think that would also allow for a deeper focus on her relationship with Storm Shadow.

Where the first movie was maybe a 2 out of 10 this one jumps way up to the 7.5 range. Still not perfect but far superior to the first.

most of that is pretty awesome. dont mind what they went with for all the characters but the cobra concept art is pretty freakin awesome.

as for the movie i thought it was great. fun, full of action(although nothing crazy) and isnt any level of lame. quite a few plot holes but its whatever. its a GI Joe film not Lincoln. its kinda funny they address the plot holes in the movie so its like they know and dont care lol. probably gonna be a sequel and i look forward to it.
