In the pantheon of superheroes, Superman is the most recognized and revered character of all time. Clark Kent/Kal-El (Henry Cavill) is a young twenty-something journalist who feels alienated by powers beyond his imagination. Transported years ago to Earth from Krypton, a highly advanced, distant planet, Clark struggles with the ultimate question 'Why am I here?' Actually this is all weird. Those banners may not even be real, as those are Kryptonian numbers, which when you insert them into the address bar lead into this:

Which redirects to WB's main website.

Terrible advertising. It's too busy for a billboard. There isn't enough contrast. Most people will drive by this without realizing its a superman advertisement.

You guys do realize this is just two pics taken of a motion billboard right? Letters are moving and symbols are presenting themselves. This would attract people driving by, I don't know what y'all are thinking.

Guys this billboard is simply part of the viral marketing. It either doesn't exist (photoshop) or will cease to exist (these electronic billboards can be changed anytime) as soon as it serves it's purpose.

Yes but it is covered in static, people taking a glance wouldn't even recognise the S symbol. I understand what you're saying but people aren't going to immediately know they're trying to promote a movie, there hasn't been much promotion outside of the online trailers and website so I wouldn't be surprised if people out there have no idea of the films existence.

As soon as the third trailer is release, the static on the billboard will disappear (like when the TV goes off during power outage). And then all of a sudden, the MOS emblem will appear. Giving it an "Alien Invasion" type feeling.

Or at least that's how I want it to be.

Thats a very weird billboard. It must change over time to unveil the logo without the static because otherwise it would be difficult to notice or even read.

And this billboard looks like its in the middle of nowhere. But at least WB is finally starting to advertise this film! And not a minute too late!
