There have been a lot of rumors and speculation, but now Den Of Geek reckon they've confirmed the villainous characters that both Lee Pace and Karen Gillan will be playing in James Gunn's currently shooting Marvel flick. Read on for more.

Den Of Geek's source has provided confirmation of two much-speculated-upon roles in Marvel's space set Guardians Of The Galaxy, which is currently into its first week of shooting in the UK. The site first "confirm" our earlier SCOOP (thanks guys) that Benicio del Toro will play The Collector, but also reveal that Lee Pace is definitely going to be playing Ronan The Accuser (a member of alien race The Kree, who has the potential to switch sides in the movie), and Karen Gillan will be playing Nebula (a space pirate who claims to be the granddaughter of Thanos). These are the roles I think most fans assumed they'd be playing, but now that it looks to be confirmed, what do you think?

This has a lot of potential and I want this to rule next summer! Hope they let the film have its own wings and not be too tied down to a brewing Avengers storyline. GOTG or GOT'GTFO!

We still dont know which Ronan Pace is playing(the article just gives a rundown on the character history and not their roles in the film), could be the ultimate version where he's the son of Thanos and not Kree, I honestly think that's the more likely version.

even advertise it as the avengers in space or the avengers of the future.

Cant see Pace as Ronan. I imagined Ronan character to be made in the vein of Engineers in Prometheus.

Amazing News!!! HAAPY PACE IS A GREAT ACTOR, EVEN THOE I WAS HOPI.H FOR A MUCH STRONGER LOOKING ACTOR FOR THE RONAN ROLE. I REALY THOUGHT PACE WAS PLAYING WARLOCK OR NOVA!! . I REALLY HOPE NOVA/ RICHARD RIDERS IN THIS FILM. HOPE TO SEE WHOS PLAYING HIM ALSO.
