THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE begins as Katniss Everdeen has returned home safe after winning the 74th Annual Hunger Games along with fellow tribute Peeta Mellark. Winning means that they must turn around and leave their family and close friends, embarking on a “Victor’s Tour” of the districts. Along the way Katniss senses that a rebellion is simmering, but the Capitol is still very much in control as President Snow prepares the 75th Annual Hunger Games (The Quarter Quell) – a competition that could change Panem forever.

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire opens November 22, 2013.

@Jet . The Hunger Games is a little bit more than that outside the arena. Outside the arena is even a bigger part in the third book.

My least favorite book of the series is being split up into two movies... this one looks good tho

@beto. I'm worried for the last two bc when you split up a book that can easily be one movie it can often mess up the pacing of the movie. Hopefully they not only recreate what happens but add on to even more on each part so it still flows instead of just slowing things down just to make sure you stop at the right part/pick up at the right part.

I like this better than the first one. The first one makes it look like a political thriller.
