It’s here at last—the sequel to the blockbuster weekly series BATMAN ETERNAL!

Five years ago, Batman and Robin worked the most disturbing case of their crimefighting careers—bringing down the organization of the ultimate human trafficker, the mysterious woman known only as Mother. At the time, Dick Grayson never quite understood the scope of that case, but now its darkest secrets are coming back to haunt him and everyone else who ever worked with Batman! With Bruce Wayne now lost to them, Dick and all his allies are out in the cold! Who can they trust? Is someone among them not who they say they are? And who is the deadly, silent young woman in black who’s come to Gotham City looking for Batman?

Prepare yourself for six months of international intrigue, twists and turns, and new additions to the world of Batman and Robin, from showrunners James Tynion IV and Scott Snyder, and writers Tim Seeley, Steve Orlando, Genevieve Valentine, Ed Brisson, and Jackson Lanzing & Collin Kelly!

I loved Batman Eternal. It was an amazing run and hopefully this brings more. I just hope they do Superman Eternal at one point. Superman is in need of some great writing, decent for now, but it can definitely be better.

I'm just happy Cassandra Cain will be making her appearance in this story.
Also, my boy Red Hood's new costume looks wack as [frick].

That cover reminds me of Battle for the Cowl. They should just make Grayson into Batman and when Bruce returns he wears the Batman Beyond suit and stays with the JLA. 2 Batmen, different corners of the world. Grayson and Damien, Red Robin (Tim) becomes his own version of nightwing or something. Jason stays as the Red Hood. Steph becomes the new Batgirl. They should never have brought Barbra back and then made her young again. Get rid of that crappy Batman-Tech Gordon. After No Man's Land he should have stayed retired. What I used to love about the Bat Family was that characters grew and changed and became their own having their own identity. DC just keeps rewinding it on them.

@Kr08 I can see "_____ Eternal" being a thing, a series of books celebrating a specific character's milestone year, with an epic story intertwining through several supporting characters and villains, the hero facing the ultimate enemies of themselves, and too it off with top notch story and artwork.

@WinterOstrich It can be similar to what Geoff Johns did with Superman and Green Lantern when he dis Secret Origins for both. It would be fantastic if they tackled every member of the Justice League. Superman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Flash, Aquaman, Shazam, and Cyborg.

@Desr0w seems to me its a reflection of joker in the glass and he's hitting Harley Quinn, who you can see react in the bottom right of the foreground

@The14thAvenger

I guess you're wrong with your theory, 'cause if you notice in the trailer at 1:34-1:35 you can clearly see in the front Jim Parrack aka Jonny Frost forcing Dr. Harleen Quinzel on a stretcher.

I wonder how well these weekly titles sell, just since it's so hard to keep up with them ... I mean they must make some money if they keep on releasing them.

Eternal was such a fun book for fans to come together and put the mystery together. Can't wait for the sequel!

Love the art work, this look promising. Batman always been the only character worth reading at DC but now that Milestone is coming back I may have to drop him.
