Thor Filming In New Mexico?

Marvel May Head To New Mexico To Film
The site Alibi.com reports that the Kenneth Branagh-directed comic book movie Thor may film on location in New Mexico. Alibi cites casting call notices that appeared online earlier this month that reportedly mentioned a "small New Mexico town." In the last casting call it was set to be in New Mexico, meaning filming might be occurring in this area.

Every time more work is done on this movie I am glad. Thor might be the hardest movie Marvel has to put out on the big screen because most people can see Iron Man and Captain America as happening in real life but Thor is a God. If done just right it will be a amazing movie.

So why the warm climate? Is it going to be kind of like the current Thor series, or is it actually going to be in Asgard. I thought Asgard was cool.

I like how ppl think NEW Mexico is hot and sunny when we have been getting snow for the past 2/3 days and average of 50F. plus it is cool to be an extra in the movie :~P

huh... I wonder what parts would take place in this setting. Asgaard is huge and weird, but I ahve never heard anyplace in Asgaard looking like a desert.
