A new tie-in website has launched for The Batman that reveals our best look yet at how Matt Reeves has reimagined the Batcave for Robert Pattinson's Dark Knight. Explore the iconic Gotham City locale here!

The Batman is clearly taking inspiration from the comic books, but also appears to be something of a reinvention for the World's Greatest Detective. The trailers, for example, have suggested that rather than a traditional Batcave, Bruce Wayne will be using an abandoned subway or train depot owned by his family, and we now have a much closer look at this base of operations.

Thanks to a tie-in website (it can only be accessed in certain parts of Europe, unfortunately), we now have a closer look at the Caped Crusader's base. It's pretty simple and far from what we're used to seeing on the page, but that's probably to be expected during "Year Two" of this Batman's career.

As time passes, we could see the hero move on to somewhere a little more technologically advanced to work, but that could be too much of a departure from the grounded, gritty tone director Matt Reeves is going for. A recently revealed LEGO set has suggested that The Riddler manages to gain access to the Batcave, so Bruce could be forced to move on following that clash.

There's a huge amount of excitement surrounding The Batman, though some fans were a little unhappy with the news that it will be PG-13 instead of R-Rated. The trailers pointed to a mature, Seven/Zodiac-esque take on the DC Comics character, and while we could still get that, it's hard not to wonder whether Reeves will have to pull his punches in order to stay within that family-friendly rating!

The Batman is set to be released in theaters on March 4.

2 Things I would like to see in the Batcave and Bruce actually using them…

Pommel Horse and Parallel/Horizontal Bar

Just nice to see Bruce working on his gymnastics if he is to be leaping around roof tops and dodging bullets/punches.

@DrThomasWayne - and just to make the scene more Kinect…maybe establish, Bruce uses this to train, but also, brainstorm out loud with Alfred while swinging around. And he doesn’t stop the Gymnastic training until he has formed a plan or solved a problem.

I dunno…just feel we should see Bruce not so reliant on the Suit to solve all his problems.

Remember when some people said this movie was going to take place in the 90s? Welp... I really am excited about this movie, and I really hope it dwelves more into the detective side of Bats. I really like the Nolan films but my biggest gripe is that the worlds greatest detective, doesnt do a lot of detective work in those films

It actually looks like you would imagine the cave to look in the early years of the crusade.

Rant: Seven, The Zodiac killer, who cares?!😂 The Dark Knight and Heath Ledger's Joker, is the gold standard for the Batman franchise. A PG-13 movie that was mostly dark, but still felt like a fun superhero movie. This idea that the Riddler needs to be chopping off heads, and ripping out hearts on screen, in order to not be too "family-friendly" is hilarious.
