''we learned quite a bit about the film's 1994 setting and what will bring the Autobots and Decepticons to Earth thirteen years before the events of the first film.''

So are you gonna share it, or are you not allowed too?

Anyway, I do look forward to this a lot. Would be even more if it wasn't connected to the Bayformers at all.

@bkmeijer - very that. I mean, I know she’s not going to be a huge player but why would I care about someone like Arcee knowing she’s going to be reduced to a background autobot who’s killed very unceremoniously later on

@bkmeijer - if transformers bay version had all g1 looking transformers would you like series I doubt it g1 is not superior bumblebee would have made billion easy if g1 was special if not for bay we wouldn’t have these movies now and transformers would. NOT be popular AGAIN that they are now with new fans

bkmeijer2 - 10/9/2021, 11:24 AM
@dragon316 - I admit Bay popularized the Transformers, but it was with Bumblebee that I finally had the idea it was made by someone who really cared for it. Bumblebee didn't have a great story, but it did have heart. Bayformers was cool, but it missed just that

@Jaykay21 - that's what I'm saying!
"What's cracking little bitches" is still iconic.

@Jaykay21 - same here! Just finished the Netflix Transformers series and it was good (Prime is still by far my favorite), but Mirage was a really cool character. With that said I was hoping the Porsche was Jazz.

Directed Creed II should be good.

He looks like a big kid on Christmas day. lol I love it. I also live the fact he got Perlman to return to voice Primal.

Caple directing this film gives me ultimate faith in the project.

@TheRationalNerd - He's a good filmmaker who also happens to be a Transformers fan. I'm so glad we're getting more TF flicks with talented filmmakers who seem to genuinely like the source material.

This may be an unpopular opinion, but I'm not a big fan of the original blocky design of the Transformers.
I like when they spice it up a little like they did in the Bumblebee movie or the Transformers Prime cartoon. I don't even hate the Bay designs, they were interesting in their own way.

WHY would they go bac to the black and yellow camero?
LameLuka
LameLuka - 10/9/2021, 11:55 AM
@kazuma - Bumblebee recerted back to his Camaro mode at the end of Bumblebee. Seeing as this is a sequel to that, makes sense
kazuma
kazuma - 10/9/2021, 12:05 PM
@LameLuka - I know that... and it was a dumb decision. They should've left him as the bug instead of trying to connect it to the shit show Micheal made.

So again. WHY would they go back to the black and yellow camero?

@kazuma - Lets be fair Camaro Bee is more iconic than Beatle Bee
kazuma

@eagc1995 - no. MAybe to kids that grew up with the crap Micheal bay made and that's it
eagc1995
eagc1995 - 10/10/2021, 8:49 AM
@kazuma - Perhaps, but Hasbro is indeed leaning more towards Camaro-ish Bumblebees, as if you look at TF universes that arent G1 inspired Hasbro has been more leaning towards having Bumblebee in a vehicle form that resembles a Camaro (of course it cant be a real camaro unless you want to pay GM every time you use him), so to Hasbro this is the new default Bumblebee form.
MSJ
MSJ - 10/10/2021, 5:00 PM
@kazuma - In addition to the Camaro being his most recognizable form now, there are rumors that the license for VW with Hasbro is limited. They had it since 2014, and it might not be renewed. Wheeljack, not being a major character, probably can get away with being a VW vehicle since his toy might only be sold for a year after the movie's release and they can change him into something else for a sequel. Bumblebee, as the face of the franchise, has to be consistent.

I dig that old Nissan skyline.the early 90s skyline is beast.

@solskulldeath -

Plot twist the GTR gets impounded halfway through the movie and they have to break him out, since that gen is just now becoming US legal as of a year or so ago

And all this time I thought this was a beast wars reboot. God dammit.
TexasAvenger
TexasAvenger - 10/9/2021, 8:13 AM
@Brand0n - I don’t have high hopes for this so I’m already expecting to only get like, 3 animal Transformers in this at most. I’d love to be wrong.
MSJ
MSJ - 10/10/2021, 5:01 PM
@Brand0n - It's never a "reboot". It's a movie with Beast Wars characters in it. If you want a Beast Wars reboot, watch Kingdom on Netflix or read the current BW comics that is literally a reboot of the cartoon.

So.... only Optimus' vehicle is accurate.
dragon316
dragon316 - 10/9/2021, 11:07 AM
@THEDARKKNIGHT1939 - he was accurate in other movies he was semi truck but this prime ridiculous looking unrealistic cartoon accurate
Arthorious
Arthorious - 10/9/2021, 4:00 PM
@THEDARKKNIGHT1939 - why is it so hard to do that for the films?
MSJ
MSJ - 10/10/2021, 5:09 PM
@Arthorious - It's not hard. Just look at the Siege toyline where they transform into Cybertronian vehicles but Optimus still looks like a square truck and Sideswipe still looks like Lamborghini. Hasbro just does not want their entire franchise look identical across multiple toylines. The aforementioned Siege toyline, for example, was being sold the same time Hasbro just released a new toyline of characters from the Bay movies. Like, they just released Cybertronian G1 Arcee twive in the last 4 years, plus a similar design but more cartoony for the Cyberverse series. So for this movie, Arcee is a bike, to ensure people would still buy it. Not just fans of the movie, but also collectors who wants another bike Arcee after Energon and TF Prime.
MSJ
MSJ - 10/10/2021, 5:16 PM
@THEDARKKNIGHT1939 - Accurate to what, exactly? Because obviously Optimus is based on his G1 vehicle mode. Bumblebee has been a Camaro for over 10 years and that's his most well-known form now. Arcee was a bike in the very popular Transformers Prime series, plus she had toys that became bikes multiple times since Transformers Energon in the mid-2000s. Scourge is based on the fan-favorite character from Robots In Disguise 2001 that was an Optimus repaint. Nightbird did not even have a vehicle mode, they just made her an Arcee repaint in more recent media. As for the others, I am just thankful they might be doing something new for once.
