As we inch closer to what promises to be an eventful season finale, Lucasfilm has officially released the concept art from this past Wednesday's fourth chapter of The Book of Boba Fett, "The Gathering Storm."

The artwork spotlights a number of memorable moments from the episode, including Black Krrsantan unleashing his Wookiee rage on a group of unfortunate Trandoshans, Fett taking out the Nikto speeder-bike gang in his reacquired Firespray Gunship (don't worry, we're sure he still thinks of it as Slave 1), Fennec Shand helping Fett climb out of the decimated Sarlacc, and more.

Check it out in the thread below.

Spoilers follow.

This fourth chapter concluded with Fennec reminding Boba that credits can buy backup, and we were left with a pretty strong tease that The Mandalorian himself (Pedro Pascal) will be joining the fray before the season comes to an end. Will any other familiar faces show up? There have been rumors that some of Fett's old bounty hunter associates such as Bossk, Dengar, 4-LOM, Zuckuss and maybe even Cad Bane will appear, but we'll have to wait and see.

Show would be better if it was just about his time in the Tuskan raider villain, maybe turn into a revenge story later.

mando gave us back boba, but having to fit into how that played out hurts the story potential

Such a pointless change getting rid of the slave 1 ship.

boba was a villain, people liked him as a villain

hutts delt in the slave trade, he worked for hutts

@dracula - who cares. Could be wrong, but I don’t remember the ship ever bring referred to by name in any of the movies.

@DanFlashesShirt - preach! Such a minor thing to bitch about

@DanFlashesShirt - I thought they called it Slave 1 in the Clone Wars cartoon but it’s been a while since I watched it so I can’t confirm.

@krayzeman - If it’s so minor, it didn’t need to be changed. The reality is those of us who have been fans for twenty-thirty years have gone our whole lives with it under that name, and don’t appreciate Disney trying to gaslight us into forgetting it. It’s Slave 1.

@Kurban - It's a little by little thing. Is it a big deal they changed the name of the ship? In the grand scheme of things... Of course not. But the reasoning is plain stupid. The name might be offensive? To whom? My people? No. No more than the term Slave drive for my old PC. Nor was Britney Spears song "Slave 4 u" or Prince writing slave on the side of his face. Or any other use of the word that has nothing to do with actual slavery.

It's the same group of people cancelling breakfast syrup, or butter. It's the same group creeping around every corner looking for slights that don't exist. It's people with nothing impressive about themselves trying to feel important.

We are just in a bad season of Earth right now. Hopefully next season won't be full of so many gimmicks

@DanFlashesShirt - So why bother changing it?

@krayzeman - Or someone can point it out and their dislike of it.

I’ve liked the show overall. I do believe the flashbacks have been the best part of the show thus far, and the pacing in the present timeline was lacking intrigue and speed. The flashbacks have given us so much, but in the present, all Boba does is go visit the mayor again and again and see Garsa Fwip. Needed to be much more proactive. Be that as it is, I’m looking forward to the next 3 episodes and I expect them to be some of the best. We have Bryce, Filoni, and Rodriguez directing the next 3. And with the groundwork having now been laid, I expect a lot of fun things to unfold.

Anyone else get a Tom & Jerry vibe when Boba was chasing the little robot. 🤦‍♂️🙄

I know its disney+, but I feel like the black krrstan would be WAY more brutal with his fighting instead of just throwing people across rooms. Ripping that things arm off was pretty savage, but feels like they’re really holding back.

Seeing slave 1 take out those Speeder Bikes was great.

I barely noticed about the ship name to be honest, and wouldn't of cared either way, but it surely wouldn't have been hard to add an in-universe explanation for it?

Boba rejecting the "Slave" name could have been highly symbolic for man who has decided he is no longer going to work for people like the Hutts, and that he is retaking control of his own life.

A simple line of dialogue could have sufficed to show that.

I still think it’s wild how everyone is still calling him Black Krrsantan yet they haven’t (and won’t) call him that on the show. Not once have they called him Black Krrsantan, for obvious reasons.

@globaltravels - what obvious reason is that? If you are referring to the "Black" part then you are incorrect since Black Panther, Black Widow and soon the Black Knight all feature in the MCU (Black Roger also got a name drop at the end of Eternals).

If it's the "Krrsantan" part, then I guess yeah it's not obvious how to pronounce it?

Seeing the Slave 1 onscreen again was great.
