As for how the movie ended with her, I don't need her right in the next movie.

I'd rather see Barbara Gordon, skipping her time as Batgirl (who has her franchise) and after interacting with Joker, becoming Oracle.

I was also thinking about Tim Drake, but I don't want this movie to be overcrowded, so just Barbara is fine.

With Joker and Killer Croc as villains, and Joe Chill and Harvey Dent as secondary characters.

OT: Did anyone here catch last night’s Better Call Saul episode? I still haven’t recovered!

@MeAreLegend - that’s still on?

@MeAreLegend - one of the BEST HOURS OF TELEVISION EVER in my opinion.

Without spoiling for anyone else on here, a truly heartbreaking death and that character didn’t deserve to go out like that. I was inaudible for a good minute.

@GhostDog - How I feel now after trashing that character from the start

@Fares - I couldn’t stand them but it turns out they were pretty upstanding and decent. We’re meant to root against them, since we’re supposed to root for Jimmy, but this character really didn’t too much wrong. Was one of the kindest characters in the BB universe.

@tmp3 - I thought BCS surpassed BB about a season ago but the beginning of this final season further solidifies it for me.

You’re in for a treat. hurry up man lol

@GhostDog - That last season was so [frick]ing good, I always slip up on shows when new seasons come out - still not caught up on Barry or Atlanta either lol

@GhostDog - Agreed. This episode definitely reached Ozymandias and Chicanery levels for me — BCS is equal to BB if not better at this point! I was really rooting for that character and watching their downfall was already tough, but that ending broke me.

Absolutely my favorite thing I’ve watched this year so far and can’t wait to see how things wrap up!

I do wonder if she is NEEDED in the second film. Will she come back because it’s expected or will they commit to her character leaving Gotham for a bit and letting that stick.

@Waddles - yea I figure a good enough motivation will justify her return. Something would have to impact her life.

@GhostDog - She'll be back. Her leaving, was more about giving Batman a bittersweet ending.

She was a great Catwoman, my favourite so far. But I really didn’t like the movie itself, which was so disappointing because the tone they went for, the aesthetics, the approach, all looked incredible in the trailers and I was beyond hyped. It looked like my perfect Batman movie (I’m a massive Zodiac and Seven fan). But I expected a really smart script, especially sinc ethey hyped a detective story and Riddler being the villain. And it was just… kinda stupid. And i thought Pattinson gave his worst performance since Twilight. Crazy after all the good stuff we’ve seen of him since. In fact, his Batman wasn’t far off his Twilight character. Mopey, brooding but not pulling it off, whiney and annoying but thinks he’s a badass. Heaps of people in my theatre laughed when Alfred woke up and Robert made a constipated teenager face and his first words to him were ‘you lied to me Alfred’.
I was rooting for him because I loved the Lighthouse and The Rover. But he came off like someone trying too hard to be dark and avenging. I never found him convincing as Batman.

I understand that Catwoman uses her sexuality to her advantage, but Kravitz Catwoman did not really use it in that way. In my opinion she was overly sexualized. Especially when Batman was peeping her...even though he was after her roomate who was in the apartment. Why did he not watch her? Why did he even follow Catwoman when his target was still in the apartment?

@Waddles - I can't argue with your second point.

Can't wait to see Selina's progression in the sequel. I really hope Matt Reeves, the costume designer, and Zoë Kravitz, come up with a great Catsuit.
