i thought it was great, i loved it and the joker is super scary with the hammer. does he know that wayne and batman are the same person? it kinda seems like he might

So....to be clear....
The Joker's iconic face is no longer real? His "Joker Face" is buckled like a mask over his real face. He had his real face cut off by a lesser known villain. Now, he has a Jokerized face over his meaty facial remains.

And everybody is okay with this?

The best single Batman issue that I have read in my lifetime. A great follow up to last year's great Detective Comics one. I completely agree with this review.

I thought it was AMAZING! The back up story was okay I mean the fact that we knew joker wasn't going to hurt Harley kinda took away from the tension BUT it was still enjoyable
Cannot wait for 14! ( That ending man...Alfred is in trouble)

On a side note, I also got Uncanny Avengers (1st marvel comic) and I enjoyed it :) not as good as batman but I will definitely stick with it

Best book of the New 52 so far!!!

I only wish they'd keep the Joker's past more mysterious though. I've always preferred that. But don't get me wrong... I love the Killing Joke!

beyond excited for this one. i will say that in those first five preview pages we got to see the other day that there was far too much dialogue which took the fear out of it for me. LESS IS SO MUCH MORE!

but i know this will be an amazing run and hope they give us a truly original story and not just a rehashing of bats & mr j's battles.

fingers crossed for an epic tale!

I completely agree. This was amazing. In terms of the new 52, it's right up there with Green Lantern Annual as far as shock and emotion. But I believe Batman 13 was better. The Joker is as crazy and cruel as ever, and I am really anticipating the next issue especially since what happened to...(SPOILERS).....Alfred, and how Joker kidnapped him. Joker is really out to just ruin batman's life. The things I think are going to happen are: 1. Joker learning Batman's secret identity. 2. One, if not two characters close to Batman biting the dust. 3. And the possibility of Batman finally breaking his rule and just destroying the Joker. Just some speculation...:) But I expect at least one of the three things I listed to happen.

@ Halloween. The article was about Batman and Synder. Too much koolaid in the halloween candy you eating. Perhaps I missed something and which is the reason why you brought up MARVEL but come on....You speak and sound bias

At the end the article is about Batman,

I thought it was great, leave it at that. Lastly...Did I miss something or I probably forgotten but the Joker has never discovered Batman's identity right?

You have to read Batgirl 13 first. SO SICK. This is going to be really good. This is what I like, stories with high stakes, and lasting imprints on character's lives.
