Warner Bros. Promise MAN OF STEEL Content To Fans Who Take Part In TDKR Countdown

Similar to Marvel's recent initiative which eventually unlocked a sneak peek of the Iron Man 3 trailer, Warner Bros. are now offering fans a chance to reveal something Man of Steel related simply for sharing a countdown to the DVD/Blu-ray release of The Dark Knight Rises.

With a new trailer set to debut in front of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey on December 14th, it appears as if Warner Bros.' marketing campaign for Zack Snyder's Man of Steel is FINALLY heating up! To raise awareness about the release of The Dark Knight Rises in two weeks time, the studio are asking fans to share a link on their favourite social networking sites in order to reveal some sort of sneak peek from Superman's return to the big screen. All we've seen so far is a single official image and a Supes-light teaser trailer, so whatever it is will be much appreciated at this point. The countdown has so far only reached 1%, so make sure click on the image below to check out the site!

In the pantheon of superheroes, Superman is the most recognized and revered character of all time. Clark Kent/Kal-El (Henry Cavill) is a young twenty-something journalist who feels alienated by powers beyond his imagination. Transported years ago to Earth from Krypton, a highly advanced, distant planet, Clark struggles with the ultimate question 'Why am I here?' Shaped by the values of his adoptive parents Martha (Diane Lane) and Jonathan Kent (Kevin Costner), Clark discovers having extraordinary abilities means making difficult decisions. When the world is in dire need of stability, an even greater threat emerges. Clark must become a Man of Steel, to protect the people he loves and shine as the world’s beacon of hope – Superman.

STARRING:

Henry Cavill as Clark Kent/Superman
Amy Adams as Lois Lane
Kevin Costner as Jonathan Kent
Diane Lane as Martha Kent
Michael Shannon as Zod

Makes me laugh how these studios think they can get us to partake in hyping their products for them and 'reward' us with something deemed 'exclusive'. It'll be on the web / youtube within minutes anyway.

LEVITIKUZ

Totally agree. I stumbled upon this though and thought the ideas were kinda brilliant. I honestly could go for a well written comic book continuation of the Nolan series. And in a dangerous way I would love to see JGL return as Batman in 8 years to face off against the Riddler for a more detective esque Batman since he would be a different kind of Batman. But that all depends on what WB does with their DC universe.

BTW are you the same LEVITIKUZ that post on the IGN boards? I believe I am a fan of your work over there.
