S.H.I.E.L.D. Vehicle Spotted For Marvel's TV Pilot

Seemingly indicating that Acura is no longer branding the titular defense organization, photos taken by LA onlookers reveal a new S.H.I.E.L.D. vehicle being hauled for filming of Marvel's TV adaptation.

As acknowledged last week by the pilot's director and co-writer Joss Whedon, filming will kickoff this Tuesday for ABC's prospective TV series based on Marvel's S.H.I.E.L.D.. And while the titular espionage defense organization has been established cinematically with Acura as its official vehicle, an upgrade has seemingly been arranged for the small-screen. Los Angeles natives, @MikeErmalovich and @DiabloRobotico, took to Twitter to snap photos of multiple S.H.I.E.L.D. logo-engraved Hummer H3Ts as they were being hauled in preparation for the shoot. Although we shouldn't classify these photos as set pictures, they are the next best thing; at least until filming starts this week. Anyhow, Marvel's S.H.I.E.L.D. stars Clark Gregg (Agent Coulson), Ming-Na (Agent May), Brett Dalton (Agent Ward), Chloe Bennet-Wang (Agent Skye), with Elizabeth Henstridge (Agent Simmons) and Ian De Caestecker (Agent Fitz). And scripted by Joss Whedon, Jed Whedon and Maurissa Tancharoen, the pilot is expected to premiere on ABC's Fall line-up this year.

Hmm, could Coulson sport the classic S.H.I.E.L.D. costume in this, then? That would be pretty cool.

Life model decoys. They never saw his body that we know of in the avengers. Fury can be very manipulative. My guess is that wasnt the real coulson that loki stabbed. Fury did use coulsons cards to anger the avengers, maria hill did point that out in the movie. Just to give you an example.

^I honestly can't see them going that route, as it would be a huge copout. LMDs haven't officially been introduced in the MCU, so you can't just pull that explanation out of nowhere.

Also, LMD are robotic duplicates. I don't believe they bleed, nor can one be stabbed "to death".

I thought there were hummers in the Avengers during the opening scene. I don't think Acura makes trucks and Loki was in the back of a truck.

@Wylee...yea, Fury is a liar..pretty much covers it. Coulson was never dead, just out...and i imagine SHIELD has some nifty medical tech since they have a flying aircraft carrier. Fury manipulated the team to get them into action...that was pretty clear to me

Tony stark mentioned them in the avengers. Whedon is very crafty and he doesnt leave things like that to be wasted. Nobody trusts fury and the avengers finding out coulsons still alive wouldnt make it a copout, it just might give the avengers the motivation to get out from shields shadow and go independant. That would please lots of fans. The fans would probably forgive the deception if the payoff was worth it. I would. Thats just my opinion.

Exactly. You can take what you want from that scene. Was tony joking, does he know they exist? Point is they left it open so they can do whatever they want. Hell, maybe the real coulson died, and the coulson on this show is the lmd. I cant wait to find out!

blackandyellow@ Would rather keep this on topic, but as I said, I watched the trial. I don't base my opinion off of reading an opinion article. There is nothing that would have led me to think he was guilty of anymore than obstruction of justice and being in the wrong place at the wrong time. I don't think he had anything to do with the actual murder. Of course, the family is going to want to place blame on him still.

I am neither a Ravens fan or Lewis fan, but I will give props where props are do and Lewis has really turned his life around since then and has done an extreme amount of work in the community and helping the less fortunate. He made a mistake when he was younger, but he was not guilty of murder.
