SPOILERS: Ray Fisher Reveals A Pivotal Cyborg Scene Which Was Cut From JUSTICE LEAGUE

A lot of scenes from Justice League ended up on the cutting room floor but star Ray Fisher has now shed some light on why some pivotal sounding sequences revolving around Cyborg didn't make the cut.

Justice League underwent significant reshoots courtesy of Joss Whedon and much of what Zack Snyder had planned seemingly ended up on the cutting room floor. As a result, it probably won't shock you to learn of even more scenes which failed to make the final cut. In a new interview, Ray Fisher has explained that a lot of moments revolving around Cyborg's backstory ended up being ditched.

"There were some things that you’ll probably end up seeing later on, that didn’t make it into this version of the film," the actor explains. "There’s a scene with Victor Stone, when he still was Victor Stone, and his mother, that was really special to shoot." His mother is referenced in the movie but those shots of him looking human and playing football were actually nowhere to be seen here.

"You’re shooting and testing, and when you’re putting it together, you’re seeing how cohesive you can make the story," he added, attempting to offer an explanation of sorts for wht things changed to such a significant degree during shooting. "Ultimately this is a team story, and, while there is some Cyborg material that we don’t see here, I’m just happy that my teammates get to shine as well."

Fisher went on to add that we can expect to see more of Cyborg after Justice League but when and where that might be is currently a mystery now that the fate of the DC Films Universe is in flux.
