SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING Promo Art Pits The Wall-Crawler Against The Shocker

A new piece of promo art for Spider-Man: Homecoming has found its way online today and it offers up a look at the wall-crawler going to war with a very different looking Shocker. Check it out...

It appears as if multiple characters will be using Shocker's gauntlets in Spider-Man: Homecoming, but whether or not THE Herman Schultz will be suiting up in the reboot remains to be seen. This promo art points to that being the case, though, as we see the wall-crawler squaring off with the villain here.

It's possible that the character has just been put in a colourful costume for the sake of merchandise and that he won't look like this in the movie itself, but there's no way of knowing for sure right now.

Starring Tom Holland, Michael Keaton, Zendaya, Donald Glover, Jacob Batalon, Laura Harrier, Tony Revolori, Tyne Daly, Bokeem Woodbine, Marisa Tomei, Robert Downey Jr., and almost countless others, Marvel's Spider-Man: Homecoming is directed by Jon Watts and will be released on July 7th, this year.

I don't like the look of Shocker but need to see it in Live action...

His arms remind me of Crossbones..

Image has been out a few months at this stage.

Design is 'ok' but needs refining. Hopefully if they attempt the Sinister Six in this film series they'll bring him back with a better costume.

Similar to how i expect Vulture would return with Falcon's suit combined with repulsor jets.

Fantastic!!!

For my idea of Tom Holland's rogues gallery and who'd fit in his universe:

Quenton Beck/Mysterio - Rain Wilson

O'Hern/The Rhino - Terry Crews

Doctor Octopus/Otto Octavius - Oliver Platt

Anthony Carrigan as Otto's toady, Max Dillon - Electro

Add that to the Shocker we have with Bokeem Woodbine

And Keaton as this more point-man oriented Vulture/Toomes, and we have us a Sinister 6

And, if they decide to get rid of him thus not allowing him to be the 6's leader,

and if what they're saying regarding not having the rights to Norman Osborne for a movie yet, go with Kingsly The Hobgoblin. He's rich, a scientist philanthropist, and conniving, but unlike Norman, isn't a slave to his Goblin persona. For that, I say use Giancarlo Esposito

And....David Habour as Flint Marco, the redeemable kind , the Sandman
