I like how she restrained herself with Maya and Kate, she was there only for Clint's head after all.

Awesome scene, I really got the impression that not only is she potentially even more dangerous than Natasha but that she managed to fight essentially 3 people while trying not to hurt 2 of them. Also since my comment seemingly got hijacked on the other article I'll just say that little music cue when Kate falls of the building thats the Vormir Natasha's death theme was an amazing touch on that moment

Man really felt for Clint when he thought Kate was flung to her death. The man's been through enough.

I watched it when I woke up sick at four in the morning so I will definitely re-watch it, I know it was good but I have no idea why everybody thinks the mom is mockingbird LOL did I miss something or are y’all going back into the lore? Also I’d hate for Jack to not be evil BUT they dude sure is in better call Saul so if that’s the case then at least he’s not typecast and it’ll thrown me for a loop

Even though I knew she was gonna appear, it was a nice surprise how. The fight was pretty damn good. Not just because of the fighting itself, but also with the various dynamics between the characters in mind. Felt like there were some big stakes.

And also, this episode made me realize how many storylines it has running, but still manages to balance it all with fights, character moments and the like.

@bkmeijer - best fight on Disney+ so far? The others in contention would all have to be from Falcon IMO, those being the first fight in the sky, the Doras interesting he apartment, and the one… I’m starting to mix em in my memory. I know it involved New Cap.

Car chases are to me another category and something Disney plus does really well, the one with the Tracksuits or the one with new cap, on par with Cap n em getting Vision from Ultron, and Not Quite Giant Antman racing through San Francisco on a truck like he broke his foot. Fight wise, I’ll give it to the Falcon one, when white cap threw the shield and saved black Bucky, epic

@MovieMonster - Fisk has always been the man running the show from the shadows that remains untouchable. I agree that he should show up, but I don't want him throwing hands. He doesn't do that for anyone but Daredevil or maybe Spidey.

@TheWalkingCuban - agreed. The Winter Soldier (the movie) probably still has my favorite fight scenes though

My guess is that the remainder of the show will be about Yelena, Kate, and Clint vs the Tracksuit Mafia. I’m starting to think Kingpin will be revealed in the finale in order to set up the Echo series. It’d be awesome if the characters face off against him but now I’m starting to think they won’t.

So is Yelena working for the Kingpin? And is Kingpin working for Val?
Mr2099
Mr2099 - 12/8/2021, 9:46 PM
@HydraB0b - This is a "fighting enemies on two fronts" situation. On one side, we got Fisk and the tracksuits after Ronin. On the other, we got Yelena working for Val for....whatever her plan is. Two different forces converging on a single target, probably unbeknownst to the other

I've enjoyed this series a great deal. Technically speaking the writing ends episodes better than most of the other D+ series imho and they are dealing well with their character's issues so far. For example something that bugged me about F&tWS was the half-assed way they handled the issues of the blip. I could see a long form series on just that and they shorted it. Oh well.

Good episode and good to see her again. Got a feeling Kingpin will have a very small role in this if he does appear. Probably end of the series tease or something. With only two episodes left and a lot of dangling threads, I can’t imagine he’ll have a huge roll.
