As previously stated, the upcoming Jumanji movie, in which Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is starting, will be a sequel instead of a reboot. The Rock himself has taken it to his Instagram account to provide a glimpse of what his character "The Smoldering" Dr. Bravestone will look like. The actor will share the screen with the likes of Kevin Hart, whom he recently appear along side with in the movie Central Intelligence, Jack Black (Goosebumps), and Karen Gillan (Guardians of the Galaxy).
The Film is set to open 28 July 2017, and with most of the cast complete, it's set to start production soon.
