AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 4 Casts GALAVANT Actress Mallory Jansen As Aida The Robot

We recently found out that the fourth season of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. was looking to cast an actress to play "very attractive robot" Aida, and now we know that's going to be Mallory Jansen...

Aussie actress Mallory Jansen (Galavant, Baby Daddy, Young And Hungry) will bring life to the robot known as Aida on season 4 of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., reports TV Line. This character was actually glimpsed (well, heard) at the end of the season 3 finale when Doctor Radcliffe's experiments with LMD technology seemed to lead to the creation of a new AI.

"AIDA" (Artificial Intelligence Data Analyser) was first introduced in the pages of Squadron Supreme back in the day, but this take may only be very loosely based on
that incarnation of the Marvel Comics hero.

Will Aida be an asset to the team, or an Ultron-like villain? All will be revealed when Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. returns for its fourth season on September 20.

Galavant! If only had you got more viewership and had a better rating! Still surprised that ABC gave it a second season.

@DeusExSponge -

Oh man, I didn't realise that it was cancelled, really funny show as well, still on season 1.

Karen David is lovely and she even retweeted me after I said the show was awesome.

@DeusExSponge - Pissed off that we won't get to see evil Mallory with powers and King Richard's Tad Cooper all grown up! ABC should've premiered Galavant at a better month. The show was so underrated. Galavant should've been Netflixed in the first place.

It would be cool if she ends up being the MCU equivalent of Alkhema.

Nice. She was good in Galavant and has interesting, somewhat unique facial features that should fit for the robot role.

Night timeslot, Ghost Rider, Life Model Decoys, new SHIELD director, HYDRA is finally defeated, ETC.

These are all reasons I'm looking forward to this season. I'm sure Inhumans will factor in as well.
