Marvel ABC Shows and Netflix Shows Unlikely To Crossover Because of “Corporate Stuff”

Were you expecting to see Phil Coulson meet Danny Rand or the Devil of Hell's Kitchen, sadly Clark Gregg has confirmed that's unlikely because of “Corporate Stuff”.

Something that have bothered to some of the fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is how the TV Shows havent made any kind of crossover between the movies, so in the meantime few fans hoped that maybe at least we could have an episode of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. meeting Daredevil or maybe Coulson be the one that assembles the Defenders at Netflix, sadly that sounds unlikely now thanks to Q&A on the Nerd HQ Panel at San Diego Comic Con when Clark Gregg was asked  which character he would like to meet in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Gregg said "Because it was one of my favorite comics as a teen, i would have said Daniel Rand, Iron Fist. but suddenly there's a gigantic invisible force-field barrier called "Corporate Stuff", unless who knows. maybe we will develop a weapon to break through that, and get me over Netflix for a minute, But if that barrier came down, then God knows i'd want to talk to Luke Cage"

To some this may not come as a surprise considering that at one point crossovers with the DC shows at CBS and CW was unlikely because they were two different networks, in order to have that Flash and Supergirl crossover they had to do negotiations in order for that to happen when Supergirl was still at CBS, so unless a similar deal with ABC and Netflix is struck dont expect to see Jessica Jones or any Defenders make a visit to S.H.I.E.L.D. or for Ghost Rider to get his own show at Netflix since he will be part of the ABC shows.

@GinjaNinja -
If he ends up on Netflix, I imagine they'll use Johnny Blaze or Daany Ketch instead of Robbie Reyes.

I don't think they will ever cross over just throw away mentions of the big green guy or the event or the guy with the hammer.

I don't see how Daredevil, JJ would be useful in infinity war

It'll happen. The Russos have said they want it and have talked to Feige about it. About everything crossing over.

If Supergirl can meet the Flash on CBS then this can happen.

Patience. Nothing comes easy.

Something tells me......

Marvel is going to CROSS OVER EVERYTHING around INFINITY WAR. They've been playing us and they're gonna drop a bomb on us in 2018.

@ComicsBornAndBred - NO WAY. I will bet you a million dollar they won't. In an interview with the Russo Brothers when asked if the Tv Characters are going to cross over into Infinity War they said

" our focus is on telling the stories of the characters that currently exist on the movie side."

Not gonna never gonna happen Marvel Movies don't care about Marvel TV

@Jokester - a man can hope lol. I saw that interview. I'd at least like mentions of the tv characters at least. Easter eggs
Jokester

@ComicsBornAndBred - I don't think so man they way the two departments the Movie and Tv departments interact with each other makes me know for certain that it won't happen. Its like the movie side doesn't want to acknowledge the tv guys exist.

If they do make a cross over I think its more believable that Matt Murdock comes to Spider-man in a cameo.

But as far as Infinity War... no way

@Jokester - I get all that and understand it. But the Netflix stuff ca hang with the films. It's worthy enough to warrant a crossover. Not AOS though. Bu5, we know it's all in the same universe at least. That's good enough for me for now

We NEED at least a mention or DD easter egg in Spiderman. Something. Or even an Alias Investigations ad in a newspaper popping up.

@ComicsBornAndBred - I don't think so. But it's really for the best. AOS is not up to the quality of the MCU and Netflix.

@eagc1995 - wheres the update? Dont you think you should post the rest of the quote instead of just part of it? Out of context ?

"At some point, I think it will start to cross more," he added. "Now that we're at 10 o'clock, we're heading in a darker direction, which means it will fit a little bit better with the other properties."
"So there's going to be lots of crossovers this year with Netflix!" he joked, looking dead into the camera. "I'm in trouble now!"

For the last time about Infinity War, we know Thanos isn't the only threat.

Multiple Threats = Multiple Response Teams.

Sheesh

All the properties are siloed between films, ABC, and Netflix.

So, so, so stupid.

Normally we worry about too much influence or control, but this is the one instance when I wish giant corporations and all their subsequent units could work together to achieve something.
