Let's go back in time. A time before Rocksteady made Batman: Arkham Asylum. A time where EA made DC movie video games, Marvel made video games period, and the Nintendo Wii was kicking everybody's ass. A time where EA and Pandemic Studios were working on video game tie-in to Christopher Nolan's masterpiece, The Dark Knight.

Very little has been seen from the game besides environment work throughout the years (trust me, I've looked) but now in the newest Unseen64 video, we have a first look at The Dark Knight video game along with the story behind why it never came out.

FYI this was movie concept art, not game. But still looking at it, it would have been pretty creepy if Joker had kidnapped all the fake hockey wearing Batmen and hang them around Gotham. Brilliant nod to Dark Victory.

I LOVED the Batman Begins tie in game. It basically feels like a Arkham game before all the kinks were worked out. Not sure if this Dark Knight game is the same company or not but this could have been good.

too bad for the company.
as for the game, Arkham Asylum came out the year after that, so in that regard is not that big of a loss, unlike that awesome Avengers game that never came out.

Doesn't seem like it would have been a bad little game, definitely better then the Batman Begins game. But hey if it wasn't for this we wouldn't have the arkham games, so it was kind of a necessary evil I guess.

It is sad what happened to Pandemic, because they were a great developer back in the day. Sadly that company doesn't exist anymore.

I wish WB would have a game coming out around the time of BvS. Because I have enjoyed the DC video games and am down for more.

Shadow of Mordor was supposed to be a Nolan Batman game before he changed his mind.

They should retroactively make it or at least more skins with film universe characters. The Arkham series does this kinda of ... too bad they reskin the models instead of creating a new model with the same move set.
