One trailer got lost in the shuffle of last night's San Diego Comic-Com madness, but you can see the first Gotham season 3 teaser below.

After a season 2 recap, there's a few brief glimpses of some of our main characters, before a final shot of The Court of Owls' lethal Talon entering Wayne Manor and attacking Alfred. As handy as ol' Pennyworth is in a scrap, I'd definitely consider retreat an option here.


 
Gotham returns for its third season September 19 on Fox.

The fact that Gotham has these bunch of villains walking around and Gordon and Alred are able to stop them wouldn't mean that there is no point of having a Batman in the city?

looks killer. this season was great and this show really goes for it. great casting/tone, only with Bats rogue gallery could you get away with a series like this, and dare I say how well they've done drawing parity in the villain design with SS, so much that it could almost be a legit prequel series.

The Court of Owls recruits their assassins from Haly's Circus, so the similarity with Nightwing might not be an accident.

Like come on. That's supposed to be a Talon?

Even the low budget television costume I envisioned in my mind is better than this.

The Court hasn't figured out how to resurrect the dead yet, so this is merely a precursor to what we know from the comic.

@rormachine Tvline have got a video with Ben Mckenzie suggesting he'll become another character from the comics in the new season. There's the strong hint it's batman :)
