Franchise Killer Clooney Doesn't Regret Being Batman

Arguably the WORST Batman actor in the WORST movie of the original franchise was George Clooney in Batman and Robin. Schumacher's desecration of the batsuit--complete with nipples and codpiece, too many villains, too many bat-people, too much neon, and too little storyline contributed to killing off the franchise for eight years--until it was rebooted in 2005 with a more serious tone. So, you can't blame it all on poor George. Recently Clooney reflected on his shot as the Batman, and he "has no regrets."

The movie, which was directed by Joel Schumacher and also starred Arnold Schwarzenegger and Uma Thurman, was panned by critics.

However, Clooney commented that he is glad he starred in the movie as it was a commercial success and helped him join Hollywood's A-list.

"The truth is, Batman is still the biggest break I ever had. It changed my career. I wouldn't be doing this now if it hadn't been for Batman," he said.

What BS, Clooney was every bit of pimpness needed to play Bruce Wayne. He played the role well.... Alot better than Val Kilmer at least >.>

While I'll agree that Clooney portrayed an almost PERFECT Bruce Wayne (for that particular series) his portrayal as Batman was horrible.

Whereas, i believe w/ Val Kilmer it was the complete opposite, he was an excellent Batman but a very poor Bruce Wayne
