This is not, I repeat, NOT Ben Affleck's Leaked Batsuit.

This is not, I repeat, NOT Ben Affleck's Leaked Batsuit.

Some people have been posting this around on the internet and if the bad photoshoping wasn't a give away, the creator admitted to faking it.

A few people and websites have already come across this picture and posted it proclaiming "Ben Affleck's Bat-suit Leak!!!" and was met with the proper amount of skepticism. Well don't buy the hype because the suit is a fake.

Leaked batsuit on Twitpic

A self proclaimed "aspiring film maker" going by the twitter name @_MikeD photoshopped this photo to add a more Ben Affleck looking chin and changed the bat signal.

In addition to making the fake Batfleck suit he attempted to get Chris Hadwick, Kevin Smith (who has already seen Ben Affleck in the suit), and Ben Affleck himself to pass the story on by tweeting the picture to them.
Neither of the three gave him the satisfaction of at least telling him "No!" which is good for them. Seeing as the guy only has 24 twitter followers and a non-existent website, creepygeeks.com, I'm surprised the picture has made it around at all. I guess we can blame Facebook and reddit for it. But that's me just speculating for no reason whatsoever. Luckily @MikeD came clean later today claiming to "...see how far it would get...".

I don't know if any of the regular CBM viewers came across this today but I would hope you realized it for the fake it is.

As frequent contributors to this site know Kevin Smith admitted on his podcast, Hollywood Babble On, that Superman vs Batman (or Batman vs Superman or World's Finest or whatever they want to call the Man of Steel sequel) director Zach Snyder showed him a cellphone pic of Ben Affleck in the new bat-suit and looks very Jim Lee inspired. And since that news came out I've personally been going back over some of Jim Lee's artwork and his art, to me, is what I picture in my head when I think of Batman, so I'm looking forward to seeing the new bat-suit. Unfortunately though we will still have to wait to see what it will look like. And seeing as what Zach and crew did with Superman's cape in Man of Steel I'm doubly excited because no movie has ever made Batman's cape exciting looking.

People believed this was it? Really?! There's no way Zach Snyder would make such a generic suit, it is going to be BAD-ASS!

There's no way in HELL that WB would okay that to ever be the suit. After reading the comments, I'm pretty sure no one at all fell for it.

Yup, people are real morons. I once saw on a meme-sharing site that someone made the fakest fan poster ever and the hundred thousand people that saw it took it as confirmation that a Deadpool movie was coming out in 2016. Real idiots those people were.

This was about as effective as trying to "leak" that the entire film will just be Batman and Superman walking down the street, doing crotch-thrusts to "Moneygrabber" for two and a half hours.

No, not worthy of a big budget film. But not a bad looking fan made costume. I applaud the effort.

I like the suit. Doesn't look official but it's totally one of the best "fan-made" ones I've seen.

"I knew it was fake when it looked nothing like the Jim Lee suit."

Supposedly, the suit they're using also looks nothing like the Jim Lee suit. It's apparently the Noel suit.

I dunno...some people are gullible. Did it cost them anything to believe it? Nah. Is it necessary to completely insult them for believing it? Not at all.

"If you are that gullible enough to believe something, be prepares to be called out for it."

Yep, anyone who believes something should be berated relentlessly.

Yep, and anyone who believed it should be mocked.

It's like when my brother-in-law fell for a fan trailer. He doesn't care about comic books, but he was excited for a new movie. I told him what movies most of the shots were taken from, but I guess I really dropped the ball for not making him feel like the lowest excrement possible for falling for something.

It's just really amazing that so many members of this site are super-intelligent and could never be fooled by anything. Almost as impressive as the severe lack of empathy.

The first I heard about it was actually this article, but I tend to be pretty skeptical with most things anyway. Either way, I'm not going to assume someone is unintelligent just because they fall for something reasonably well done.

Anyone who assumes someone is intelligent just because their mind works differently is simply an asshole.

I don't know why some people have to be so harsh to others who might have wondered whether this was true. "They're retarded" or other such comments are over-simplistic. It must be nice to have such a harsh judgement of people. I wonder if your own life and existence can stand up to such scrutiny?
