In the wee hours of early Thursday morning/late-Wednesday night (depending on what Coast you're on) Captain America: Civil War directors Joe and Anthony Russo held an impromptu fan Q&A session on Facebook. The sibling directors were careful to not divulge any spoilery info but they did a great job teasing a few, previously undisclosed developments that occur in the film.  Apparently there's a big kiss that occurs in the film but The Russos were careful to not disclose which of our heroes lock lips.  However, they did tease that fans are unlikely to guess the pair.

Joe Russo also explained how the film compares to their previous effort Captain America: The Winter Soldier.  "Winter Soldier is a political thriller.  A political thriller usually has a complicated plot that traps the lead character, and the lead character is typically behind the plot, trying to catch up with it, and there’s a revelation moment where they finally catch up with the plot, and it’s usually around the end of Act 2. Then they scramble and defeat the villain in the third act."

Joe went on to add, "But a political thriller, like The Winter Soldier, turns on plot.  There are very specific plot twists in the film that push the characters forward. A psychological thriller turns on the characters and the choices that they make, so this movie is more of a character film, and the key moments in this movie turn on key choices that the characters are poised to make in the film, that ultimately, as the title suggests, put them in conflict with people that are close to them, and that can be a severe conflict."

Captain America: Civil War” picks up where “Avengers: Age of Ultron” left off, as Steve Rogers leads the new team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. After another international incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability and a governing body to determine when to enlist the services of the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers while they try to protect the world from a new and nefarious villain.
