The full details on the Blu-ray special features are out and it looks like we're getting an extended version of Peggy's funeral, amongst other things. Plus, check out the first deleted scene & featurettes!
After a glorious run at the box office, where it collected over $407 million domestic, $1.15 billion worldwide, the biggest superhero movie of the year - Captain America: Civil War - will finally arrive on Blu-ray & DVD in three weeks time, on September 13.
We were fortunate enough to learn about which special features would be included on the Blu-ray release back in June, but since it was still fairly early in the process, there wasn't a ton of detail provided on what these special features would entail. However, with the release date swiftly approaching, Stitch Kingdom has been able to obtain a fully detailed list of the bonus content.
The Blu-ray will contain over 60 minutes of exclusive bonus material, including a nearly 45-minute Making Of documentary and two separate inside looks at the cinematic evolutions of Steve Rogers & Tony Stark. We'll also get a sure-to-be hilarious gag reel and four deleted/extended scenes, one of which is an extended version of Peggy Carter's funeral, which should bring the waterworks. Finally, a four-minute exclusive sneak peek at Scott Derrickson's eagerly awaited Doctor Strange is promised.

Exclusive Sneak Peek (3:49) – Go behind and beyond the scenes as Doctor Strange makes his journey to the big screen.
Marvel has officially released one of the four deleted scenes: "Zemo Meets Doctor Broussard." This brief sequence sheds some light on how Daniel Brühl's Zemo happened to meet the ill-fated Doctor Broussard, played by Civil War co-director Joe Russo. Check it out below:
Plus, here are two new featurettes from the extensive Making Of documentary. One of them centers on Sebastian Stan's Winter Soldier while the other explores the complex relationship between Elizabeth Olsen's Scarlet Witch and Paul Bettany's Vision.
“Captain America: Civil War” picks up where “Avengers: Age of Ultron” left off, as Steve Rogers leads the new team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. After another international incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability and a governing body to determine when to enlist the services of the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers while they try to protect the world from a new and nefarious villain.
