The Winter Soldier Wields The Shield In This New CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR Deleted Scene
This latest deleted scene from the upcoming Captain America: Civil War Blu-ray sees Bucky (Sebastian Stan) come to Cap's aid by using his iconic shield to ward off an attack from War Machine...
EW has debuted a rough-cut deleted scene from the Blu-ray release of Marvel's Captain America: Civil War, which confirms that at one point the epic airport battle scene was even longer.
The clip features Bucky using Cap's shield to deflect an onslaught from War Machine, while Black Widow surveys the carnage from a height. The "I've gotta get me one of those" mega-cliche aside, it's a pretty cool moment - though it's not difficult to see why it never made the final cut what with everything else that was going on in that scene.
“Captain America: Civil War” picks up where “Avengers: Age of Ultron” left off, as Steve Rogers leads the new team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. After another international incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability and a governing body to determine when to enlist the services of the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers while they try to protect the world from a new and nefarious villain.
Captain America: Civil War hits Blu-ray & DVD September 13.
