Many actors often recount the first time putting their superhero costume on as being a memorable affair. Apparently for Spider-Man newcomer Tom Holland, the experience wasn't as breathtaking as he thought it would be. “I have to say it was a little disappointing, because my stunt double at the time was a little taller than I am, and I had to wear his suit because they didn't have one for me. So it was kind of baggy the first time I tried it on. It wasn't as cool as I'd hoped.”
Of course, we wouldn't be able to tell watching the trailers and TV spots, given that CGI touchups have made the suit look remarkable. Holland admits that he's very satisfied with the final product. “Obviously once they'd fixed it up it looked incredible, it was amazing”.
It's safe to say by the time production begins for Spider-Man: Homecoming, Holland will have a suit that fits like a glove. Speaking about his future involvement in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and starring in his own solo film, Holland expressed immeasurable excitement. “I was unbelievably excited about it anyway, but this just raises it to a new level. To know that I have more of this to come, and this is not just a one-off, is one of the most amazing things to me. To be here and to be surrounded by this wonderful cast is just incredible, and I'm so proud of this movie, and just, everything's amazing."
