'Batman V Superman' has opened to a lot of unexpected controversy, because of how the movie turned out, while i liked it, and i thought it was an alright film, just a little dissapointing.
The film's 'failure' (even though it's a box office success, not minding the drops) has caused a lot of people to lose hope into the DCEU, and i'm here to tell, you the movie's gonna be a financial and critical success, let's see why.

#1: WB Really Likes It;

Well, WB has liked the final product so much, that they are doing a sequel, with Ayer and Smith returning. Now, WB also went ahead with JL, and them saying they like how BVS turned out, may not be true, because they REALLY, want to fire Snyder, but they can't as the movie has started shooting, and bad publicity for his firing might be a problem, aswell. But that man needs to go, like seriously, put Ayer on JL, WB!

#2. Something New And Fresh

Let's be honest, BVS didn't turn out the way it was supposed to, and with CW coming out shortly after it, the whole superhero brawl thing is already boring, atleast to me.
But a movie with the leads being villains? Like, all of them being villains? That's new, you have to admit, and the direction Ayer is taking this concept is fantastic.

#3. More Deep Exploration Of Batman's World In The DCEU

I mean, the whole Suicide Squad is just a ragtag group of Batman villains (and some Flash villains). Harley Quinn, Killer Croc, Deadshot and even the Joker. While Captain Boomerang is a Flash villain, you know what i mean.
And with this being the first movie to show us interaction between Batfleck and Leto's Joker and Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn.

#4. It Could Be DCEU's First 'Critically Acclaimed' Film

The DCEU has a hot streak. Not the right one, though. I mean, no DCEU film has gotten more than an average score or negative one. Suicide Squad could be changing that, as David Ayer has numerous critically acclaimed films to his name, and that could secure the DCEU's first critically acclaimed film.
Let's just hope guys.

END.

Hopefully it will show an interesting way of tackling the characters, and give DC another way of looking at its universe.

You can't do much universe-building around a group of villains. How many movies (besides SS sequels) do you expect each of them to star in?
Very few. Only Joker and Deadshot would likely cross over.

To build the DCEU, you need heroes.
And to get good movies with heroes, they need to fire Snyder.

This is probably their best hope. It is however already problematic in that it features Batman villains who according to BvS should all be dead. The other problem is that it AGAIN focuses on Batman's world. There is an OVER SATURATION of "Batman's" world which is why I think the solo Batman films will not do well compared to other brands like Captain America.

Snyder won't be directing Wonder Woman but he along with his Wife and some other dude who's name I can't remember right now will be producing it and those last 2 produced BVS. Despite that will WW have a chance to be good?

if this and WW don't do well, WB should just give up, and sell the rights to someone competent.

Ayer is a great writer and director so that alone has my hopes up.

So is Deathstroke in this or not?

I get the impression that WB has written off the complainers and the hate-machine as a part of doing business that will unfortunately depress revenue regardless of film quality. There is literally nothing they can do until the era of institutionalized recreational hatred ends.

Until then, they'll just keep making money off the DC intellectual properties...just not as much as they would if they were not on the metaphorical "list of things to hate on."

It makes sense, too. The hate is just background noise now, a part of the environment that cannot be changed at the moment. The good news for WB is that, although the number us artificially deflated by bandwagon hatred, there are still millions upon millions of fans excited about the DCEU.
