In the latest issue of DC Comic's Justice League, the Darkseid War has gone from bad to worse as the members of the Justice League try to figure out how to deal with their new found problems. Meanwhile, The Anti-Monitor's true form is revealed and a new alliance begins to form.

The Darkseid War continues to bring out the twists in each new issue of Justice League. In the latest issue, Justice League 47, the League is left dealing with their latest problem of becoming gods. Meanwhile, Cyborg, Power Ring, Big Barda, and Mister Miracle seek help from the only people who might have an idea of stopping the Anti-Monitor... the remaining members of the Crime Syndicate.

The altercation with the few members left from Earth 3's Crime Syndicate leaves Cyborg in an old but familiar state, Power Ring takes control, and the return of a very dangerous foe, a foe that happens to introduce the idea of a crazy and unexpected alliance. Look below and see for yourself the mayhem that ensued in the latest issue of Justice League.

I'm not sure why, but the first thing that came mind after looking at the new Anti-Monitor was Imperiex Prime. Yet I know they are not the same.

I hope after this series is over DC will do something with Egyptian mythology. They have different people who get their powers from the gods, but never really show the gods. I think it would be great to finally see how Black Adam, Isis, Blue Beetle & Nabu got their power from.

@blackicejoe YES!! that would be incredible! I've always wanted to see something like that done well in a comic.

as a side note, i really WISH blue beetle would get a name change, cos he's such a cool character, but has such a shit name...
With his Egyptian mythology behind him why not call him Scarab or something lol...

I hear what you're saying, but there is already a villain called Scarab, so that won't be happening. I do think it would have been nice if they used a different name though. The reason why is because there has been three Blue Beetles and you really can't have all three being alive at the same time, which sucks because I prefer Ted over Jaime.
