FAN ART: PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN Star Keira Knightley Shows Off Her Range As 'CABLE' In DEADPOOL 2
"She's got range, who knows?" - The talented BossLogic has released his latest fan art piece, this time depicting Keira Knightley as the time-traveling Cable in the recently green-lit Deadpool 2!
Apologies to the five of you reading this article who may have not gotten around to watching the hilarious Ferris Bueller-inspired end credits of Deadpool yet, but during the second-half of that post-credits sequence, Ryan Reynolds' Merc with a Mouth revealed that the popular X-Men/X-Force character Nathan Summers a.k.a. Cable, son of Scott Summers & Madelyne Pryor, would be making his big-screen debut in the now highly-anticipated sequel. He even offered a few suggestions on who could play the part with Mel Gibson & Dolph Lundgren being the first two names out of his mouth, but then he really brought the house down with his third suggestion - Keira Knightley.
Even though it's unlikely to happen (although she does have range, so who knows?) the talented BossLogic has done a mockup of what the Pirates of the Caribbean actress would potentially look like as the time-traveling mutant, who is set to join Mr. Pool on his next adventure. Check it out below:
So, what do you guys think? Personally, I'd prefer Tom Cruise (Collateral) as Cable, I mean sure he's probably a foot short, but if he can successfully pull off Jack Reacher, he can certainly pull off Cable. Sound off with your thoughts on Knightley, and whoever you'd like to see as Cable, below!
