I think we all expected Doctor Strange to look good, but did you expect it to look this good? Moments after it premiered on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Marvel has unveiled the first teaser trailer for the movie and it puts the spotlight both on the character's origin story and some really gorgeous (and trippy) imagery. There's also a new look at Mads Mikkelson's villain, and well, this is definitely shaping up to be 2016's most unique comic book movie. Director Scott Derrickson has certainly done something special...

In Doctor Strange, famous neurosurgeon Stephen Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) suffers career-ending injuries in a devastating car crash. Seeking help in the furthest reaches of the world, Strange uncovers the hidden world of magic and alternate dimensions!

Starring Benedict Cumberbatch, Rachel McAdams, Michael Stuhlbarg, Mads Mikkelsen, and Tilda Swinton, Doctor Strange is currently set to be released on November 4th. Are you excited?

I like the visuals. Would've enjoyed a bit more action. Also why is Mad Mikkelsen so illusive in these trailers recently?

@SmellofDuty - Went back and watched it again, Mads is in two shots in the trippy hallway.

@SmellofDuty - This was a teaser trailer, not an actual trailer. For what it was, introducing us to him, the ancient one, baron mordo, and the visuals, that was more than fantastic

@SmellofDuty - It's JUST the first trailer. I'd much rather a trailer that is all tone, than giving away action beats. Save all of that for the movie. It looks like Marvel is learning that less is more in the marketing department.
